How can you go wrong, air-conditioned, free and a well presented history of the Redcliffe area. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and keen to show you their history.

Redcliffe Museum is quite small but very interesting place to visit. Nice to see it expanded a bit more but still pretty good

I recently visited The Bowerbird and the Bride exhibition at The Redcliffe Museum. Firstly, this is my third trip to The Redcliffe Museum this year. It is a facinating place with really first class exhibitions, a great children's space, and great memorabilia. As a recent newby to The Redcliffe Peninsula, I'm trying to guage as much knowlege of the history of the place where I find myself living in a blissful retired state. It is no rest as there is always something to do - [or nothing to do, if you feel like it]. Back to the Museum... it was refurfished a year ago and it is a very large, clean, modern space. Centrally located. The Bowerbird and the Bride exhibition: Marion Boyce was the costume designer and creator for Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries, The Dressmaker, and probably other period pieces. She has a collection of wedding and formal dresses from 1880 onwards til 1960. This was a first class exhibition. I look forward to the next exhibition. Well worth a visit. Friendly staff and a band of enthusiastic volunteers.

I was a little disappointed with my visit here on Friday. The staff were very friendly but the exhibits were sparse and not enough history.
