Only a small Museum , but so much to learn about Redcliffe !! From the days of the Hornibrook Bridge to the newer Ted Smout Memorial Bridge , you'll find so many facts . Back in the forties ,my father had to pay a toll of one shilling to cross the bridge ...

How can you go wrong, air-conditioned, free and a well presented history of the Redcliffe area. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and keen to show you their history.

I was a little disappointed with my visit here on Friday. The staff were very friendly but the exhibits were sparse and not enough history.

There was not much to look at. I think that the maximum amount of time I have spent in there is 1 hour. (It mainly contains stuff about the olden days).

This museum shows the history of Redcliffe from the time of the First Settlement. Interesting displays which frequently change and the shed is a must!

Redcliffe has a long history which many people would be unaware.
They have an excellent audio visual to acquaint people with a brief history since settlement. Then it's off for the exhibits. Probably allow just over an hour for the visit. They also have an interesting array of local books to purchase. We bought one on historic homes, unfortunately they no longer exist due to fire, high taxes or redevelopment.

I've been to the Redcliffe museum several times and it is always nice and interesting to go to for kids and adults. And if you're wondering, there's even a gift shop! (Sort of)

Made to feel welcome, this small museum is large on information it was a really cool pit stop and has a really cool park opposite. If you like history in any shape and form than this place is really worth a visit. Loved the old cameras and seeing how technology has developed over the years. This had a film of 14 minutes which halted and depicted what the museum was all about, don't want to spoil your fun. It was free to go in and it also had a donation jar so no pressure. Loved this place pleased that we stopped and took the time to step back in history, definitely worth a visit.
