Highly recommend this trip; the boat is spacious, comfortable, very well set out and clean. We booked a window table and was very happy that we had, the visibility was excellent. Kerry and her team are superb hosts and clearly have a genuine passion for the whales, dolphins and the ocean and they impart good information to the guests. Kerry explains the importance of not getting too close to the whales, particularly the mothers with cubs, and does all she can to gain their trust. We saw this in action yesterday. The result is that the Eye Spy boat was surrounded by whales that came right up to the boat and put on a spectacular show. This is a very well organised outfit and would absolutely go again and again.

Just the best way to experience the whales in Moreton Bay, with plenty of time to watch a pod of whales frolicking around and under the very comfortable vessel, such a treat to see these majestic animals in their own territory. The excellent commentary by Captain Kerry, ranging from the history of settlements on Moreton Island to the whaling station era and now the increasing whale population. The beautifully presented lunches and the attentive and helpful crew. Certainly a terrific few hours on the water, and to cap it off we had a beautiful sunny winter’s day. This was the second time I had been on the EyeSpy and wish I would do it every year!

The whole non invasive part of the experience. The crew gently maneuvered the vessel into the vicinity of the whales, and allowed the whales to come to us and show off their mighty power and beauty, and in their gentleness, showing us respect as we did them.

A great day. Saw quite a few whales and several breaching and tail slapping. The crew were very attentive. An experience right in our back yard. Don’t miss the opportunity to see these majestic creatures from a purpose built catamaran. Cruise leaves from Redcliffe daily.
