A lot of people told me I'd be lucky to see a whale... we saw dozens! We encountered several pods of whales on their southern migration, including mums and babies, courting males and even a hammerhead shark. Many of them came very close to the boat, doing a little human watching, I think. It's a good day out and the... More

Pick a calm and balmy day & you're set for a great day out on the water. It's a beautiful, scenic ride out through the bay with all the local history being explained along the way. They almost guarantee you'll see whales, we saw around 12 - VERY close, and the boat's big enough not to feel overcrowded. The meal... More

After a week of predictions of dodgy weather our Saturday dawned bright with only a slight breeze as we headed out to watch whales. Words can't describe the experience so I will leave it to the pictures. However, taking advice about sea-sickness medication is essential if you don't want spend the day looking at the bottom of a sick bag... More

On the 17th of August we set out to whale territory. It was not long before we sighted the whales and what a sight, something I will never forget. The whales came up alongside the vessel, gracefully leaving going under the vessel and around in circles. Magnificent creatures. The 'mighty oceans" so described by fishermen and sailors throughout the ages is... More

We were lucky to have beautiful weather for our trip and it was one of the highlights of our holiday in Australia. After a slightly laborious check-in procedure, we took off to Moreton Bay, where the whales come every winter to have their calves. Long before we could see anything, our captain's trained eyes had already spotted some whales in... More

This was our first trip to Brisbane and this Whale-Watching Tour was at the top of our 'to do' list. We weren't disappointed! A fabulous, purpose built boat, friendly and fantastic staff and beautiful weather. The lunch that was included was also plentiful and delicious. Of course the highlight of our day were the whales. What an amazing sight to... More

What a fantastic day out. The whales came up to the boat and we got some great pictures. We saw plenty of whales and they were breaching and slapping. The whales stayed around our boat entertaining us. It's something I will never forget. The lunch served was lovely and fresh and the staff very friendly. I highly recommend this whale... More

We saw lots of whales very close to the boat. The commentary is very informative. We were lucky with the weather and the sea was relatively calm. There are sea sickness tablets available for purchase if you are worried about getting sick. We chose the no lunch option. There are snacks and drinks available for purchase. The benefit of not...
