There are several good reasons for making sure you visit Queens Park if you're in Ipswich or nearby. If you've got kids, there's a great 'animal enclosure' area – along a windy pathway past all sorts of Australian wildlife just metres away. And if you're...More

Went with my partner and had a walk around. It's a surprisingly good experience considering it was free. All the animals are in huge enclosures and seem very well looked after. Would recommend this place to anyone.

The place is dreary only from LIFELESS people with no enthusiasm to enthuse you to even get a map of the place. the "gardens" in QUEENS PARK ARE REVOLTING..... Its Hot. It needs 10,000 trees trucked in. a dead hole of useless ratepayers cash.

Queens park though set on a hill is beautiful, well maintained, and has a great kids play area. The zoo though is a must see, it's free but can donate to help care for the animals.
