Great place for a decent walk or hike depending on your intended path, winding through Australian bush and with some epic views to reward you at the end.

Wow, an amazing hidden gem not far from Brisbane. Not the easiest place to find, there is no direct exit from Cunningham hwy so need to do residential back streets but eventually found it. Wow, once there it was truely awesome. I have some very worthy tips on this hike. Enter along the trail, but keep walking past all the signs to the 3rd sign that says WWRT, up a few steps on the right of the service road. From here you will meander up through bush and sandstone paths , easy walking. Track about 50cm wide but well walked. Keep walking inclining gradually up over the next 30+ minutes. The track is hot and little breeze, take heaps!! Of water and a hat. The track is almost 100% in the full sun. Once you get to the top the breezes are there and the views. Continue along the track until you find the rock ledge to bum slide down, only way down but it works, then keep walking another 10 minutes , and there it is white rock. Omg awesome, hidden amongst the bush. Take time to enjoy this majestic rocky outcrop of sandstone. To return, TAKE NOTE , go back the same way you came in, WWRT. You can go down the steep wood stairs to a long, long, long!! Dry and dusty sandy trail walk of approx 3.5+ Kim to the car park. In the full hot sun. There is no water or toilets along the track, signage is extremely poor. I suggest you go back along the ridge trail, we didn’t , big mistake. This is a grade 4 hike, rock hopping at times and bum sliding but the end is a jewel worth walking for. NOTE. Take heaps!! Of water and a hat. Allow about 3 hours for a round trip or slightly longer. Toilets are at the car park, parking is at the gate, no fees. Going home again no access to the highway so you will need to work out how to join the motorway via the maps. Do it but not on a hot day unless well hydrated, wear good hiking shoes as there is exposed rocks along the way and exposed tree roots. 9/10…

Enjoyed walking here & seeing the bird life. The walking tracks could have been signed better but great place to visit & we will return.

A hike with some climbing elements to the top of Spring Mountain, it's rather steep terrain in some parts, so need to have good balance and trail shoes would be wise if climbing up the rocky terrain to the mountain. A good level of fitness required and make sure you bring hydration and nutrition.…

A good walk as a family of 4 and my parents. Mostly along flat area, only hill climb at the end. Great scenery and amazing views. A bit more distance than suggest, but worth the walk to see the White Rocks!
