Really helpful when my daughter broke my sup paddle! Thank you so much! PLUS you can pay by the hour for the carpark rather than a flat rate for the whole day!

Very flexible and staff very friendly. We hired wetsuits and surf boards over 2 days and the quality of the items was great. Nice big carpark with toilets and a fresh water outdoor shower. Food and drinks on sale nearby. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this business!

I had an excellent private surf lesson with Sadie and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a lesson. She got me standing on my board in no time and made me feel really comfortable in the water. She also gave me some good pointers on how to improve going forward and let me try out some different styles of board. Highly recommend!

Spent two excellent days with these wonderful people. All the staff were friendly and polite. There are lots of different lessons going on so arrive bang on time and you won't get mixed up with anyone else. A group lesson with Instructors Aliyah and Daisy was a great start for a 50 something who'd never set foot on a board, and I was up and standing in that first lesson. The group size was spot on, both instructors were very capable and paid attention to everyone as needed. By its nature the group lessons are designed to cater for all levels of ability and don't go into massive detail on technique. All the staff were more than happy to chat and give advice once the lesson was over and back at their base. Hire rates are reasonable if you just want to carry on surfing for the rest of the day, which I did. As my intention was to spend a few days surfing I'd booked 3 group lessons over three days, but converted the next two to a private lesson. Aliyah was my instructor and was an absolute star who was immensely patient, encouraging and sociable, making the lesson both pleasant as well as worthwhile. As a 121 lesson I learnt more about safety, the quirks of Croyde Bay currents and techniques for turning and staying in the wave, all of which I was able to put in practice. There was no time pressure at all. The bay can get very busy and the instructors did exceptionally well in both lessons keeping us safe. There is a cafe on site which is open from 9am and sells a really good range of food and drink at reasonable prices. The toilet block is clean and well kept - there were no changing facilities other than this.

Coasteering with Sadie from Croydon Surf Academy yesterday. My wife and I plus 2 kids aged 10 and 14 did as part of a group of 7. Sadie managed the whole thing in a super friendly but highly professional way. The kids had an absolute ball jumping in off the rocks, swimming into caves etc. It appears they have no limits when it comes to jumping into the sea from what felt like a decent height, it appears two middle aged office workers do have limits though😂 😂. Can’t recommend Coasteering or Sadie enough though.
