Private Costa Brava and Tossa Tour with hotel pick-up and Panoramic Boat Ride

2 reviews
Explore the Costa Brava’s ports and coves without the fuss of hiring a car or catching buses or trains. This private full-day tour from Barcelona takes you to this picturesque chunk of coast by private car, so you can sit back and admire the sights. Take walking tours to discover history you’d otherwise miss, enjoy a boat ride (own expense), and relax at a beach you may have overlooked independently.

Lovely scenery. You can see the rugged coastline as you walk around the castle. Such a shame that it has not been preserved as a castle internally but the stairs and pathways around it still retain that oldy worldly feel. However it is a difficult walk for the less able bodied and very young (under 5) as some parts were slippery or crumbling.

We've taken to swimming as the sun comes up over the last few years. A romantic notion and this is our favourite location so far.

Long walk to the top of the hill, many steps but the breath taking view. The walk is worth it. You have to wear comfortable shoes.

Wonderful views but be warned there are plenty of steps to reach to top! In some places most of them are uneven. It’s very high too so don’t climb if you don’t like heights. However once you get there the views are lovely,.

The trail is amazing! Mostly for it's breathtaking views. Even thought the hiking trail is 21.4 km long, you may choose to walk around the castle and then get back. There are stops and benches along the way, many great spots to make pictures. It might be windy as you go up the stairs. And make sure you have comfy shoes, since you will be walking on stone stairs. But no need to prepare for demanding athletic activity, it's a great place both for serious hikers & for lazy tourists. Also, my advice to take some water with you since there are no stores along the way.
