Fenals is an absolutely beautiful beach, well worth the visit. Clean toilets are available and a range of shops for food and drinks.
Sun loungers and parasols are also available at a cost of €7 per item per day which, for us, was well worth it. There is also a range of water sports available for a fee.
It's worth noting that the beach isn't sand, more like very small pebbles/stones which get very hot to walk on during the day.
If you're a sea lover I'd also advise taking a snorkel to see all the small fish swimming around your feet - it really is beautiful.

Beautiful and quiet beach, with plenty of beach shacks serving ice cream and smoothies surrounding it. The ‘sand’ is actually very small gravel which gives the appearance of white sand, and can be uncomfortable at times but we found it easy enough to walk on - perhaps not the best for children though as you certainly couldn’t build a sandcastle!! The sea also has quite a severe dip at the start, so only for competent swimmers, but was very calm and few waves. Sunbeds and parasols were only 7€ each (much cheaper than I expected!), and boats and water sports were available.

Totally loved fenals beach. Area mainly full of Spanish families, busy in august but still plenty of room. You can hire loungers and an umbrella for €10 each. We left our bags by these when we went swimming and they were perfectly safe. You can buy drinks, food and ice creams you the promenade and there were toilet blocks available. We also hired a pedal boat with a slide on the front which the children loved. We loved the area so much we’re going back this year! (The beach is made up of tiny stones - not quite a stoney beach, not sand- but you can walk in it without shoes!)

In mid-October the water was a bit cool, around +20 and on most days the waves were pretty high, despite it, the water was very clean. The beach offers basic facilities, nice cafes, you can also take a boat trip along Costa Brava. The boats go several times a day from May till November.

I did not spend a lot of time here, bit took the pictures for review. Nice coarse sand beach. Temperatures were reasonable for October to stay out and get the sun.
Mainly French people at this time of the year, some brits.
Loads of shops and eating places nearby

Absolutely stunning little beach with water sports available and brilliant boats with a slide attached. The only problem we had while visiting the beach was we had our bag stolen with everything in it for the day including our camera which had already a weeks worth of holiday pics on, clothes, sunglasses money and a go pro, absolutely gutted and my wife was sunbathing when they took it as me and my daughter was in the sea, was reported but we knew the stuff wouldn't be found and apparently it happens everyday at the beach but there is no security there to watch out for the thieves so please do not take any valuable items and little money as possible as they prey on us tourists!!!

Great quality beach and perfect if you want a break from the party atmosphere of Lloret de Mar. Some chilled bars along the sea front and you can take a glass bottom boat to Tosser de Mar for 22€ return. The boat trip takes 45 min each way and Tosser de Mar is a lovlely spanish old town with great resturants. Perfect for a day trip

I believe it is. The town is very small so easy to get around. Plenty of taxi services available too. The hotel we stayed (Aparthotel Costa Encantada) at was wheelchair accessible everywhere with multiple lifts.
The beach is nice and flat however there’s 3 levels to it so to get to the sea level you have to walk down 2 small hills

Bus service should be all year round ..direct from LLORET de mar station you can get deals on tickets for example LLORET de mar to Blanes train station then on the train to Barcelona return for 15 Euro per person ! Or couple Euro if your just going to Blanes .. but get your tickets from a choice of bus services from the station lobby to get best deal .. weathers around 18c November..

how do we get to Fenals beach from Lloret de Mar?

I’m rubbish at directions but if you google hotels near females beach it should give you directions. It’s a good walk but manageable, my three year old managed to do it and it took around 15 mins, the bus is also on a loop and drops you right by the beach

I am thinking of planning a trip to Barcelona at the end of February. Is it worth including Fenals Beach in my itinerary even though the weather will still be pretty cool?

Hello traveller, We have been in september and it was nice to walk along the beach and seat on a terrace and drink some coffee or a fresh beer, but in february I think a lot of these cafes are closed so it is up to you to decide or contact the Lloret del mar tourist office.
all the best vincenzo
