    Golden Sands
By far,the best beach in the area.Soft golden sands backed up by a bustling promenade with a low sea wall. A castle is nestled at one end of it. Only drawback is that the sands steeply slope before you can paddle or swim in the sea!

    Beautiful beach Amazing coastline
Beautiful beach and coast line. We went beginning of May so it was warm but not too hot so it wasnt packed. Plenty of shops and places to eat along the coast line which arent far from beachfront so very accessible for those with limited mobility

    Painful
This beach looked stunning BUT and for me this was a major turn off- the sand is not sand. It’s teeny weeny sharp pebbles and sand mixed. It’s a man made beach. Very clean and tidy and large but the most painful to walk on unless you’ve got rubber feet or thick skin! My sensitive little toes could not enjoy that beach- even with sandels they would flip up making it impossible to enjoy. So for the reason I went on it once for 15 mins and left. I really felt this to be a let down in my experience as we had planned a beach day and there was no way to enjoy those pebbles. I’m not exaggerating it was like walking on pointed stones.

    Beautiful
We spent almost a week on this beautiful beach. We hired sunbeds and a parasol everyday for 8 Euros each. It wasn't overcrowded and very clean. Quite a lot of people smoking though even though it's a no smoking beach. There are steps down to the beach all the way down the promenade and a ramp in the middle for wheelchair and buggys and a wooden walkway that goes almost down to the sea. They do need more ramps though as we have a child in a wheelchair and we were limited to one spot... although it was beautiful. There were lifeguards all the way up the beach and on one day we actually saw the lifeguards take a lady down the walkway on her wheelchair then believe it or not... Carry her to a seat right in front of the sea and they filled a bowl up with sea water and put the lady's feet in it, they were constantly checking she was ok and when she was ready they carried her back to her wheelchair and pushed her back up onto the promenade...full respect to these guys. The sea is lovely but goes very deep, very quickly so be careful with your children. Boat trips, pedalos etc are all available from here. It's a beautiful beach... enjoy.

Surrounded by French people, we went to a bar and they were surprised that we were Spanish. The letters were in English or French. Stores more of the same, plus sexualize everything. It's a shameful, disgusting city. The worst area of Costa Brava. People are only going to party (Spanish not) and fornicate leaving their protections worn on the beaches of this city.
Some pigs, pity this place is considered Spanish. Even the workers in most stores are from outside.

Spacious beach. We were going from the morning and always found enough space but begining with 16 is very and very crowded. If you go little further from the center is much better, no marihuana smell everywhere (maybe someone likes this but that bothered me a lot) and not that crowded.
Big grain size sand, clean beach, free toilet at the beach. Many bars along the beach, looot of shops and loooot of discos. It’s a place for teanagers, for those who want to relax, drink and have fun. It id not a peaceful place where you can seat at the balcony with a glass of wine and hear the sea )))) its the beer and cocktails place, in big quantities))
For the peaceful stay better choose tossa de mar. Amazing place. Liked more.
There is another beach “playa de fenals”. Lloret is better beach. But the walking path between these beaches is amazing. Such beautiful views. Worth it.

A nice place to spend a day though not a sandy beach. You can swim or sunbath. Deck chairs and parasols can be hired for €8 a day.
Its a nice walk along to a nice little chapel if that is your thing

very lively town, well equipped for families, as well as for "disco" tourism. Average prices for a tourist location, shame about the dirt in many areas and in many areas of the centre. Public transport is present but the connection service can definitely be improved, both in terms of frequency and organisation.

The beach disappointed us, we thought it was sand and there are small stones, it has a slope before entering the sea and covers a lot in a short distance, I recommend bringing booties. There are no foot showers on the beach.
It is preferable to go on tourist routes in the area and surrounding areas because the area is very beautiful to visit.

If you can go somewhere else, don't hesitate. Drunkenness, shouting, cars at all speed.... No tranquility, it is a city for foreigners. The beach has almost no space and as soon as you enter some water you are completely covered. A lot of insecurity gave me everything

The beach at Lloret is of course sand, sharp to walk on. It’s too course to build sandcastles with. The beach is wider towards the the castle end. There is a steep drop down to the sea. Pleasure boats come up on the beach. There are kiosks on the promenade where you can purchase tickets.
The promenade makes a lovely walk from end to end and takes about 40 minutes.

Been there with sweet 17 in the 80s. Beach is still rather grainy but fine. Been back 2019 for a sentimental visit and must say no big changes but cleaner and more professional which is good. Water is much better. But full as always.
Some of the old places Moef gaga, Tropics ,Revolution and Bars are being there at the same place, a few bars are seemingly unchanged. which I appreciated. Even our Hotels Montserrat and Capri(now sun city) still there while Montserrat is empty.
Good, crazy time we had now others continue to have too.
