Overview
More
This wonderful garden was landscaped in a setting of great beauty on top of a cliff with breath-taking views over the sea, and it is a fine specimen of the spirit that animated the Noucentista movement in Catalonia - an early twentieth-century movement for intellectual and aesthetic renewal that found a distinguished spokesman in the writer Eugeni d'Ors. The Santa Clotilde gardens were designed in the manner of the dainty yet austere gardens of the Italian Renaissance by Nicolau Rubió i Tuduri at the age of twenty-eight, when he was still brimming over with admiration for his master in the art of landscape gardening, Forestier.

Very nice and well kept gardens, we took plenty of lovely pictures here! Some great views of the coastline as well. We visited this by using the hop on/hop off bus (starts off at Lloret bus station) and got in for half price so no...More

On a hill side high above two cove beaches with beautiful sea views: neat, tidy with very little variety and very little information on the ground. A lot of small to medium size statuary but no sign to say who they depict or their time...More

Beautiful well maintained gardens. Be brave and walk up the hill to get there, you’ll be rewarded by stunning views.

Beautiful place, a true gem of Costa brava. We have visited it with kids and even they enjoyed it. Better go in the second half of the day, as the gardens at the sunset are specially beautiful.

Take your time and get lost in this beatutifull garden. Very well kept and clean. There are also some nice sculptures inside and special place for sunbathing with free sunbeads and seaview. Near garden one can find small beach with clean water.

Took the 'gardens' open top tour bus to visit this garden, but unfortunately started at 11.30am. This meant that we arrived at Santa Clothilde at 12...and could only return at 1pm or 4pm. (Bus driver has a 2hour Spanish lunch, please note!) Anyway the gardens...More

Very pretty. Very green and exceptionally well managed but no colour...perhaps need a different time of year to visit. No where to get a coffee or glass of wine, surely that would have been easy enough to put into place and would have really made...More

It's a cozy, quiet and charming garden, very green. There is amazing view to the sea. It's nice to spend some time there at the shadow of trees.

If you are coming from Barcelona especially to see these gardens, they will certainly get you away from the city and offer a peaceful atmosphere. There is a bus station in the centre of Lloret but as to which bus you take... More
