I will get you to beautiful private or remote public waterfalls away from the crowded tourist areas. No long or hard hikes on my normal tour but harder hikes are available. Ideal for seniors and families with children. Great for photography. I know the lighting at each waterfall. I've been to over 170 waterfalls in this area. Located 30 minutes from Asheville, NC and 5 minutes from Brevard, NC. I will meet you at a convenient location based on where you are staying or driving from.

Craig gave my wife and I a very memorable tour of six waterfalls in the Henderson and Transylvania NC counties. He was extremely generous with his time and also added a lot of historical knowledge to our tour. Craig also tailored our tour to the moderate level of experience we were looking for. If you want to see some stunning... More

We have visited the Great Smoky Mountain National Park every year for the past five years with some close friends. Our visits are photography adventures to capture photos of sunrises/sunsets, streams, and waterfalls. This past week, we spent time in the Sapphire Valley of NC hiking and photographing waterfalls. EARLY one morning, Craig Miller was our private guide to five... More

If you love waterfalls but don't like crowds, this is for you! The best bang for your buck is provided by Craig Miller with his private tours of out-of-the-way waterfalls. He has such knowledge of the area, the time and location of best light for photography, the environment, and the falls. Totally recommend this tour for a wonderful experience that... More

We had a great experience with Craig! He personalized an adventurous tour for our family of 4. We could have never found these waterfalls on our own! We never saw anyone else. My husband especially enjoyed talking with Craig between stops. It was nice to hear about life in this area. We had a great day with Craig. Would highly... More

My husband and I, along with our dog, spent the weekend in Brevard. On Saturday we did a 3 mile hike of High, Triple, and Hooker Falls in Dupont State Forest. The info I read on this hike was 100% true: it's a popular hike and to avoid crowds, go early. We didn't start as early as we intended, and... More

What a wonderful tour and well worth the money. We saw the most beautiful waterfalls and landscapes. Craig was so knowledgeable and provided incredible background on the area.

Craig is a phenomenal tour guide. We called him the day before our tour and he planned a day the couldn't be beat touring waterfalls. He adjusted according to our abilities and strengths and led us to the most beautiful falls we have ever seen. This is a must if you are in Southwestern NC. You won't be disappointed but... More

It's all true. Every positive review you've read is right on target. We contacted Craig, gave him some info on us and our hiking abilities, and he set up a tour accordingly. This area is known for its abundance of waterfalls (250?), and I think Craig is familiar with most if not all of them. The ones he selected to... More

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful day touring the backcountry with Craig. He is very knowledgeable not only with secluded waterfalls, but also with the history of the area. I am going to recommend Craig to everyone I know and would recommend booking him for your waterfall adventure.

Nothing else we've done matches this tour! Our global family had just visited Niagara Falls and insist that this private tour was much more beautiful! From 2 years old to 60+, the eight of us we were invigorated and rejuvenated by all the negative ions of the waterfalls and forests. Craig even made sure that our mobility-challenged young man, Kris... More
