Nice view of the bay and some of the structures around it. Not a great place but if you happen to be in town it’s worth a short stop. Definitely wouldn’t come here just for this.

The Torre was closed when we arrived however the scenery around was quite beautiful. We were in Trapani while the seas were termed "multo agitato" so the wind and waves were pretty incredible creating a very dramatic backdrop to the Torre.

As in a title, the entry fee is about one euro, (probably 50 cents with Trapani welcome card). There are some ancient items from italian wars and nice view on the top of it. Nice historical lesson.

At the end of the tip of Trapani is the Tower of Ligny. Called a museum, but really few relics to see inside and more use as a vantage point to take photos from the roof.

The tower itself it is nothing special. The reason why walking to the end of the land of Trapani is the view of the sea, of the city and the mount of Erice and of the islands of Levanzo and Favignana.

It is quite a long walk but worth it. Go in the morning and spend time on the fish market. Some people are sunbathing on the rocks on the side of the pier.
Unfortunately the tower (museum) was closed with no pre-advise. We learned in Sicily that things are 'open' only when you find them open ...

This tower is very small to visit. Entrance is only €1, and there are not that many exhibits. But most of the artifacts on display were brought out from sunken ships of centuries ago, which makes them of utmost interest. Among other things, there are two Roman soldiers' helmets dating back to the second century before Christ !! The view from the top of this tower is extremely nice, especially for photographs.

Great location. Good views. Passed on the museum as the interior of the building really smelled like a boys locker room at its worst. Sorry but true.

Unfortunately, we have never found it open; not this trip, and not when we visited in 2013. It is still worth a visit because from here you have views of the harbor and the Lungomare di Tramontana.
