Whilst I have never had any concern about any of the roads that I have travelled on the islands that I have visited this one was different. This one is extremely dangerous due to the surface being quite loose. We set out to visit this...More

Visited here as part of a 4WD tour of the island. It's one of the most unusual beaches on the island, backed by old abandoned sulphur mines. You can check the mines out - but don't go too far. The beach doesn't have much shade...More

My family and I recently went on a boat tour around the island and we stopped for a swim at the Old Sulfur Mines. The swimming was fantastic, clear waters and cool rocks from the sulfur. I would recommend going here for swimming, we had...More

Firstly you need to get there jeep, 4×4 or one car high enough not to hit the rocks underneath. It is a dirty 20 mins roadtrip, is some parts a bit dangerous, after Zefiria. The view of the old sulfurmine totally worths it and if...More

About the place: Very few know about it and even less visit it. It is 30 minutes far from adamas and it is recommended to go there either on an SUV or a powerfull off road motobike. Bear in mind it is a "virgin place"...More

Just breathtaking. After 20mins of dirt road, you discover this abandonned sulfur mine spot, with a golden sand azur water beach. It looks like they were still digging there yesterday, the wagons are still on the rails... Absolute spot for shooting a film!!!

This beach was definitely one of the most beautiful and interesting around Milos! You definitely don't wanna miss it! Ok, it's not easy to reach it! But once you get there you understand how worthy it was! First of all, if you didn't rent a...More

On this beach you will find abandoned houses where mineworkers dwelled. They were abandoned in the 1970's. You can still see the beds and even the mattresses! There is even a large warehouse with machinery spare parts and chariots...

amazing place and represents the history of this wonderful island - left in 1958 and untouched since - see it before it totally decays to nothing - worth the track road drive there - and we did it in a buggy !

My partner theo loved this beach as there was hardly anyone there and the old sulfur mines were amazing to explore ! This is a very difficult beach therefore would only recommend going by a 4WD drive !! Even if you are a good driver...More

It is a long way from the main road. You will need one vehicle for sure to reach the place or there is the other way to go by the sea.
