No issue to access it by car. We parked few hundreds meters before and walked to enjoy the view. Simply amazing with all different mineral colors and the ghost mine suddenly abandoned !

This island is full of interesting and beautiful landscapes. The old sulphur mines beach is no exception to that. The drive can be tiring but totally worth it. I would prioritize other beaches with easier access and visiting the sulphur mine beach if there is...More

I would only recommend coming here in a 4x4 as there is a stretch of road that has a steep incline and the road condition has detoriated to a point that a front wheel drive car wont make it. We only made it out thanks...More

The approaching road soon becomes a dirt track, with numerous forks in the road.  Keep following the blue signs for the correct route (see our picture). We read the reviews and parked quite a distance away, perhaps a 30 minute walk just off a bend, by...More

Whilst I have never had any concern about any of the roads that I have travelled on the islands that I have visited this one was different. This one is extremely dangerous due to the surface being quite loose. We set out to visit this...More

Visited here as part of a 4WD tour of the island. It's one of the most unusual beaches on the island, backed by old abandoned sulphur mines. You can check the mines out - but don't go too far. The beach doesn't have much shade...More

My family and I recently went on a boat tour around the island and we stopped for a swim at the Old Sulfur Mines. The swimming was fantastic, clear waters and cool rocks from the sulfur. I would recommend going here for swimming, we had...More

Firstly you need to get there jeep, 4×4 or one car high enough not to hit the rocks underneath. It is a dirty 20 mins roadtrip, is some parts a bit dangerous, after Zefiria. The view of the old sulfurmine totally worths it and if...More

It is a long way from the main road. You will need one vehicle for sure to reach the place or there is the other way to go by the sea.
