Our favorite beach to chill and for families. It’s the perfect spot especially on days with a strong north wind. Due to it’s sheltered position in the southern coast, the water is calm. It’s approx. a 15 minute drive by car from Adamas. There is...More

we chose this beach to escape the northerly winds. the further you walk from the bar, the less people. you are able to walk out into the water quite far because of the flat bottom. if you walk past the rock formation on the edge...More

Unlike other isolated beaches on the island, this one you can take the car few meters from its entrance. It is a semi-organised beach with a nice beach bar.

This beach was a but of a surprise as we were driving towards it. It is somehow hidden as you have to walk along the cliffs to get to it but also it's not very big. They do have a bar and a few sunbeds.

We rented a car for the day and headed out to Firiplaka beach. You can also get there by bus or ATV. The scenery is gorgeous. The beach has chairs for rent and a bar area for drinks and a few snacks such as fruit...More

Nice little beach. Best way to go on this beach is taking a atv. Beach is good, sand is good. High cliff all around. Few sunbeads availlable.

The beach was nice and clean. Lots of people and you can sit in organized section or on the sand. There is a beach bar which is good. The view walking down is gorgeous

This is a good option to have a swim and a beautiful day at the beach. The landscape is very beautiful too. There is a beach bar, sunbeds and umbrellas if you need. The water is clear and you can enjoy swimming.

Firiplaka is a hidden gem! The mountains behind you glow with a rainbow of color. The little beach bar serves a mean sandwich at a reasonable cost) which was much appreciated as we didn’t realize packing a picnic would be so difficult to do! Our...More

Half-day Sailing in Milos (9 Replies)
We are traveling to Milos on 29 September as part of a cruise. We'll be there from about 9AM-4PM. We don't have enough time for a full-day cruise and was hoping someone had information about a half-day cruise to Kleftiko and maybe some beach stops along the way. We arrive at the port of Adamas. If that's not possible, maybe some suggestions on a nice beach where we can chill and there's a taverna where we can call a cab to take us back to the port. Agios Ioannis Beach and Firiplaka Beach look...More

Thanks for the information. How about renting a car and driving to Firiplaka Beach? How long would it take to drive there. The other areas you mentioned are closer to Adamas so that is always a good option close by the port. Steve

Firiplaka Beach to Tsigrado Beach (8 Replies)
Hi, I understand from a reviewer that Firiplaka Beach is next to Tsigrado Beach. Is it possible to walk down the beach from Firiplaka to Tsigrado? I had my heart set on visiting Tsigrado but the boat tour I'm taking doesn't stop there and many in my party are not comfortable climbing down a rope and ladder to reach it. I'm trying to find another way to get there. Please advise. Thanks.

Your best bet is to swim from Fyriplaka to Tsigrado. :) Andreas DE for Milos
