This was one of the best beaches in milos . It's very difficult and pretty dangerous to climb down the mini cliff where there is a rope and a ladder. You better visit fyriplaka Beach and rent a cayak (only 10 euros). This way you can also visit the beaches before tsigrado. Also worth visiting for its caves where you can take beautiful photos.

A very unusual way to arrive on a beach
Be prepared... This is the most unusual way to get on a beach. Arriving by car is easy but they you need to do some 10' climbing and hiking. But the view just on the edge of the huge staircase is worth all your efforts. Very small beach, you are lucky if you find not too many people. Try to swim far away and explore the places outside the surroundings of the small area of the beach.

Tricky entrance to beach, cool experience and nice water
Be prepared for a tricky entry to this beach, slippery rocks and propel down a ladder that has missing steps. It’s a cool experience and the water is clear and blue. It’s a small sand area so go early before the crowds, you wouldn’t spend all day there. Carry minimal items and maybe a backpack as it’s hard to navigate up and down.

    Busy but very unique!
Very cool beach with the ladder access to get there. However the beach is very very small and this is a highly recommended tourist spot, so expect it to be busy. I went to see it, however did not go down, as I’m not overly confident with ladders and heights. We visited early morning and was already packed as well.

Never seen a more magnificent beach!
The trek down and up the steep and narrow crevices between sheer rocks and down a ladder (which is missing 2 rungs -needs to be taken care of!) is trying but not difficult. Tip1: wear secured sandals or go barefoot. Tip 2: just around the side of the main beach is a much smaller area that was completely shaded in the morning. Tip 3: bring water!!! There is nowhere near by to get any

    Timing is everything
Beautiful early morning climb down, luckily assisted by a group of Italians and Brits. Would have been a little hard on my own. Doable with flips though I was really envious of the sneakers I saw others wear. Completely empty but no sun either so hard to see the blue green waters. On the flip side, sun would have been brutal as there looks like there would be no shade.

    Don't believe the insta filters
This beach looked beautiful on the reviews, the photos looked stunning. The reality is quite different. Ugly, dirty beach, people calling it a "hidden gem" when there's a massive car park dead opposite. Don't even waste your time coming here.

    Very Cool Beach Experience
My friend who is Greek told me if I was adventurous that going to this beach will be fun. I was a little apprehensive about what that meant. My 28-year-old daughter and myself at least wanted to see what it was about. The fun and adventurous part is getting down to the beach. There is an opening between of the side of the mountain just wide enough for you and in your backpack and you have to repel down the mountain Using a large rope provided and an occasional ladder. Although I did see some people turning back I do not think that it was that bad at all. It was challenging when you were trying to get down to the beach and other people were coming up but being that we went in September that only happened once. The whole thing would only take about 15 minutes to get down to the beach and it is very much worth it. I actually saw a guy when I was leaving carrying a cooler and I was like “you clearly have not been here before”. Sure enough after thinking he could do it I saw him walking back to the car LOL there is no way a non-collapsible cooler will fit down the wedge. Anyway the beach was beautiful- it is a small beach but the entire journey was so much fun !!

    The rope broke !
Too much people touched the rope, and it broke while I was going down the ladder, I was very afraid, it could have been dangerous... However, I am 25 years old and I am athletic ! Be careful !

    Very nice
A secluded little beach that you need to climb down on order to reach. It is worth the effort though, as the waters are clear and the experience unique.

We tried to get on Tsigrado Beach, I personally claimed down ( wasn't easy), at that time beach was full of sea weed so I decide not to stay and went to next beach that was perfect! The beach is not for kids, baby's and pets, keep that on mind and instead go to next beach that is bigger and easerier to reach.!

This beach is definitely one of the attractions of Milos but not sure if it worth the sweat, especially in rush hour.

After reading the reviews we were somewhat skeptical of the climb down. With encouragement and patient climb mates... we both made the trip down. It was scary but well worth it when we arrived at the secluded beach. You had a sort of community feeling with the others on the beach knowing they also did the climb.

The views were beautiful and the water crystal clear. It was a perfect spot for a swim!

It is SO WORTH IT!
