    Amazing place Worth Visiting
This place is amazing, it was clean and not many people around. You can easily walk there from the city and it makes for a great trip. The coastlines look fabulous and there are also caves close by, which of course - are quite dirty and littered with trash.

    Spectacular moonscape white beach
Spectacular moonscape white beach. Wonderful cliff diving, swimming, beach experience. Be very careful while exploring the caves, make sure you can see where you are walking. In parts it is dark. There is one big step drop off that many people, including one of us fell down. Great photo opportunities.

    Stunning
The landscape is stunning. It’s crowded when you compare with other Milos beaches, but you cannot say it’s crowded when you benchmark to regular beaches. It’s worth visiting for 2-3 hours for breathtaking photos of the contrasting white cliffs and sea. As you approach the beach there is a small bar with drinks, and parking along the road. Must visit.

    Sarakoniko Mountain and seaside
Sarakoniko beach is just literally a place from other World. When you will arrive you can admire a mountain made with white rocks. This mountain is full of very strange natural sculptures made by wind, salt and sea. I felt to be like in a Moon atmosphere. If you decide to arrive in the little beach that is just down the Mountain you will find also caves. I think is one of the most beautiful place I ever visited in Europe.

    Great Views, but ….
The views are stunning. I’d imagine it would be crazy hot in the dead of summer so pack well. No shade. Stay away from the rocks in the water as there is a stinging plant of some kind that will leave you with bites and welts. Less suitable / fun on windy days.

    Phenomenal
We chose Milos because of Sarakiniko beach! This beach is like no other, we witnessed the sunrise which was extraordinary. Less crowded in the morning and those who seek for adrenaline rush, you can cliff jump from the rocks. No regrets, just wonderful memories and experience

Probably the most well known sight in all of Milo's, Sarakiniko beach is a must see location at any time of the year.

Sarakiniko beach can best be described as the "white beach" of Milos, as the entire area is covered in ashen-white volcanic rocks and sand. The landscape looks like marble and is often compared to the surface of the moon. It really is an exotic location, one which can't be found anywhere else in the world.

The surface of the area is rocky, perfect for climbing and trecking. The water is almost emerald in its color during the morning, when I visited, and is rarely disturbed by wind thanks to the cliffs surrounding it.

The beach itself is always bathed in sunlight and has practically no shade for most of the day. If that is an issue then I'd recommend visiting during the evening, late enough to experience the sunset there.

There is also a high cliff which some suggested one can dive from. I personally would not recommend that as the water is actually very shallow in my opinion. There is also limited space in the water, it is a rather small beach.

The area behind the beach also has 3 caverns, which make for an interesting photo op.

The bus stop is 4 minutes away from the beach and the entire path between that and the beach is covered in mesmerizing white ashen sand. You will need sunscreen to walk from the bus to the beach due to the sand's reflective nature.

Personally, I find the gorgeous white scenery and rocky landscape to be this area's main reason for visiting. The sea itself is nice but shouldn't be the focus of your visit here

All in all, despite the lack of space and shade, this is a beautiful location with many opportunities for photos, climbing and obviously swimming. A must-see at least once, though after that you probably won't be visiting again.

When visiting the island if Milos Sarakiniko beach is the place to be.The scenery is breathtaking.Sarakiniko beach is surrounded by chalk white cliffs and in the middle are turquoise waters. The perfect place to take pictures in this extraordinary surrounding which looks like a movie scenery.I don't recommend anyone sitting on the rocks because they are chalk white but Sarakiniko is a must when visiting the island.

The bus from Adams to Sarakiniko Beach was cheap and easy. The volcanic scenery was stunning and the white stone was not hot to sit on. Fun place to jump in and cool off! Very hot weather made the wait for the bus a long one. There was one truck with few concessions and shade from one tree. No toilet services and few taxis. Plan accordingly.

This beach is probably the most well known on Milos since it looks like the surface of the moon. There are many great views as you walk down the rocks to get to the water. The walk down is fairly easy and there is a nice easy entrance to the shallow water. There's more to explore if you're good with climbing rocks and going in caves, but it's also just a nice place to hang out in or by the water. Parking is clear and easy, but could get crowded. We arrived around 10:30, which is when a tour bus did, but it didn't feel too crowded. We came back for sunset one night and it was very cool!

The beach is really beautiful to both explore and swim in (it is not a typical sandy beach though). Definitely recommend.
However on the rocks you will find snakelocks sea anemone which i mistook for some kind of moss/ algae/ seaweed when I sat against the rocks. I quickly removed myself from the rocks as it felt slimy but then I felt it had attached to me. I brushed it off, and when it requires a bit of force to actually get off me I realised that it wasn’t just some plant life. It started stinging almost immediately and my leg got a nasty rash within 15 minutes. I now know that it is not dangerous and rather just painful for a bit but obviously it is still something worth avoiding! From reading other reviews, I think the most important thing is not to sit against the rocks when in the water, and I think you should be fine.

A spectacular set of white cliffs overlooking the windy Aegean Sea. Resembles the moon rather than an earthy place. Truly magical.
Advisable to wear trainers and not flip-flops or sandals as it is a bit slippery and steep. Usually windy as it is situated on the north part of the island but don't let this discourage you from visiting. Small canteen open during the summer season where the bus drops you off. An experience and an otherworldly scenery to remember forever.

Watch your step becauss you WILL be on an aspiring Instagram model’s photo.
This is an absolutely gorgeous beach and many people know it. It’s quite big though, so despite there being many visitors it spreads out nicely therefore it’s not too crowded and you can find a place to lay down in peace.

When you think you're going to a beach with something different, think again. This is quite unique. Worth visiting it, perhaps earlier in the morning, given that many other people just like you have heard of it and will probably go there too.
Be ready to walk, take water with you and let yourself enjoy an amazing place.
