Lack of accurate information. They never informed us in time that the ship will not travel due to bad weather conditions. We traveled 120km to visit Koufonisi and they never considered to give us a heads up for the windy weather. One hour before the departure time they informed us for the cancelation of the trip. Consider asking these information before you book any trip…

Considering we have visited the area for over 24 years we have never been on the boat trip to Koufonosi. There were six of us uin our party and we were a little tentative about the trip due to Covid. The good news was we had to complete health questionaires and it was the only time we all had temperature checks. In August you can imagine it can be unrelenting sun but there is shade available. I would recommed jellies or other water footwear as the sand can be baking hot. If you are able a sun umbrella will be handy. I was pleasantly surprised at the pricing of the food and drink as they have a captive market. The 2 beaches we visited were fantastic with plenty of time to swim and dive. Overall we were pleased with the trip.…

I have joined the day cruise to Koufonosi island, hoping it would allow me to hike to the amphitheater ruins on the island (as also mentioned on website). This did not happen, but regardless this let down, it is quite decent boat trip. Likes: - Island is empty and unspoiled, not like Chrisi - Boat is nice and enjoyable, I liked to jump from it to the water - Staff is energetic and friendly Dislikes: - Despite the fact, that I purchased ticket online directly from operator, I still needed to wait a queue in ticket office to get the ticket - Itinerary is not clear, even during trip its presentation is rather vague - Itinerary included 30 min swim by nice beach, then we embarked 2 hours in rather normal beach (comparable to those I visit daily). I did not see any ruins, rare floral species or learned anything about the island from the guide. - Rather weak bar and services: e.g. you can borrow an ancient sun umbrela for 4€. I would expect this to be included in price Altogether, it is very basic trip. I have paid 23€ for and audult via operator’sown website. It is OK for what I have received. If you are asked for more (e.g. by reseller) I would not …

Highly recommendable for people who love to swim in the Mediterranean and really good for snorkelling too. The food on the boat is okay but a bit expensive. Staff are overall friendly (couldn’t buy a cup of coffee at 1130 am because it was dinner time) but at 4 pm I was allowed to buy my coffee. The water is magnificent at so clear and turquoise and perfect.…

When having a trip claimed to be a pirate cruise with animation for children, you think it's going to be a unique experience. Unfortunately, this trip is a huge disappointment and there is no justification for such advertising. Animations are basic and scarce, for instance treasure hunt lasts about 2 minutes. My child had a better treasure hunt experience at our hotel! Furthermore, most children miss the ship entertainment anyway because there's noone who would invite them or tell them where it is. Everybody would be better of in a non-pirate, but bigger and more comfortable ship. The Greek are greedy and take on board too many passengers, so everybody's cramming on the narrow benches. People who can't sit in the shade or are separated from their families, eventually get pretty cranky and argue agressively for better seats. Don't count on seeing much of the island from the ship. You'll be packed and won't be able to move from your seat. And even if you could, everything's crammed on the side of the boat and it's impossible to get a good view. The only highlight of the trip is the turqouise sea and a Caribbean-like beach, but the organizer can't really take credit for that. This trip is a complete waste of money. There are so many wonderful activities on Crete, you can skip this one without remorse.…
