More important for its historical and cultural importance then its architecture. Parts are well maintained parts are in neglect and disrepair. Divided into 2 parts the rear portion is a temple with free entry. The rear portion was destroyed some years back and is now rebuilt. Very nicely maintained.

The Govt hasn't maintained the place at all. The area which was initially famous for the building is now more renowned for the shopping places in and around.

This building is the most well known and defining landmark of Indore. Once a palace of the Holkar dynasty, today it is in shambles. There's no maintenance, and city folks use the durbar hall as a picnic ground. Tourists are rare, and at the end of a visit there's a feeling of regret for having wasted time on it. There's... More

Rajwada is located in the heart of Indore. Once a place for royals, now it has become a shoppers place with lots of options available at a bargain.

Would have been a beauty in its time. Now not well maintained though. Built by the Holkars. Architecture is good. Nothing exceptional, except a few artifacts on display. Lots of shops have come around this place where one can get stuff for cheap. Need to just bargain.

The place is famous for the palace and the market around bustling with citizens every day. It is home to some of the finest apparel collection in Indore.

It was quite disappointing to see this place. It is crumbling and there is nothing to see. A useless museum. You are charged for camera if you want to take photos. There is nothing to take photo. Just avoid.
