The tower is tall and impressive. The grounds are well kept and newly renovated. Because the tower is so old, it can’t be climbed, which is understandable but also disappointing. The tower grounds are an active place of worship so there are also some Buddha idols (including a laying Buddha) in traditional Chinese temple buildings in front and behind the pagoda. The Haibao park area is nice to walk in. There’s a small lake and some boats you can rent. There’s a couple of amusement rides, etc.

as i said, it's a great place with aboudant buhdism culture. and there is not so many tourists. haha, maybe the buhdda is not so busy and can hear your wishes~~~shuuu
