One of peak of He Lan Shan mountain. It's very famous in history. A lot of wild goats there. It's very good to visit in spring and autumn.

Good hiking trails. Climate, terrain, and habitat are like southern Utah, so don't choose a hot sunny day. You can hike off-trail pretty much anywhere you want to go--or can go without technical climbing. This is rugged country. Watch for the blue sheep (aka Himalayan sheep). You can camp here also, but don't tell anyone. Oh, and entry is free if you are 60 or older.

note the photo attached here is somewhere else. I had a half -day hike here and it was fine and friendly. Not too many other people, well signposted trails (!) andthe chance to get off the beaten track for some more serious hill climbing.
