I went to the Donglin Monastery (the new one) and really enjoyed the visit. The temple is majestic, complete with a large lotus pond in the front yard and a huge Buddha statue at the rear. However the statue is elevated, so there are many steps to walk up. The view from the elevated level is breath-taking. One of the finest monastery of Lord Budha . This temple is set on a hill top and you need to climb up the stair to reach there . But , once you reach there , you could feel the extreme peace . You also get to see the view of the jiujiang city below . The temple is being renovated and the devotees can also offer help in construction by donating . Regular chants of Budha mesmerises the surrounding area by a divine power .

Worth going to if you are in the area. Beautiful bamboo groves, interesting site and a nice tall climb to a great view if you fancy it!
