Good to spend a couple of hours in the garden and explore all the paths & rooms. Highly recommended to everyone who is interested in Chinese gardens or mansions.

This was the most luxury and exciting tea experience I had with friends. We visited Yangzhou in April, the most beautiful time of the year. We brought tea and set up a little tea ceremony in the garden. It was an unforgettable experience!

A beautiful and huge home (of a wealthy family) that has become the property of the people. Have visited in spring and winter. Winter is tough because of the lack of any heating in the building areas. The worst thing regardless of the season is the # of people which makes it hard to enjoy the place and take pictures. …

You might think that each gardens is the same but no. Each garden has its characteristic, also Heyuan. This garden is fusion of western and china. Chinese garden with influence western decoration.

An amazing place and residence . Huge , charming , well preserved . Amazing workmanship and tranquil . Give yourself a good 2-3 hours to relax , enjoy and explore . A must do if in Yangzhou.
