BaiLong Elevator offers amazing views, but only if you are lucky enough to be among the first to enter the elevator and locate yourself of front of the window - otherwise, the only thinks you'll see will be the backs of the people in front of you. It's still worth a try ...

So apparently this is the world's tallest outdoor elevator built into a cliff... or something like that. That's sort of saying my car is the fastest car in the world that is red and parked on my street. Still it is pretty cool.

If you are able get to the front of the line to ensure a spot right up against the glass. The elevator is a double decker style so don't fret too much. The first few seconds you don't see much as you are encased in the concrete foundation. But soon you are thrust into a magnificent view of the surrounding area. Don't blink because the elevator is fast; you are at the top lickety split. And then you all crowd out like a herd of sheep onto the landing and out into the sunshine. 2 minutes and it's all over.

Been there, done that.

Pretty cool for an elevator. Nice views and also interesting to see it on the cliffside. But at the end of the day, it's just a crowded elevator ride.

This seems more of a scam than anything worth looking forward too. Only those in the front or along the glass can get a good view as they stuff so many people into one elevator which takes just seconds to reach the top so you hardly get to see anything if you're standing at the back. Keep in mind tickets are one way and there's no stairs so if you want to go back down you'll need to either go all the way around which would take almost the whole day or be forced into buying the tickets again. Not recommended.

Short and not worth it's price. Queues everywhere takes much longer time. 1 minute ride and view from elevator just generic, better go to glass bridge and ride on zip line.

Not worth it. Spend 2 1/2 hour waiting for my turn. The ride is only 5 minutes. I was squeezed like a sardine in the elevator. Nothing to see. The view from inside elevator is not good neither.

November weather in this place is simply cloudy so one misses to marvel what this scenic elevator has to offer as the glass windows are muggy & visibility is zero! But reaching the destination on top of the mountain remains breathtaking!

So China has done it again! They made the tallest elevator and of course made it glass. My family, unlike me who is terrified of heights, was so excited to get on this elevator. It was quite an amazing opportunity with sensational views you will never forget. The cost is 72RMB/ $10 USD, so its reasonable. It will take about 15 minutes to get down the elevator.

My advice! So you can imagine an elevator is not so large, needless to say the first on get the views while the other people stare at your back... Wait, even if that means letting others in front of you, so you may be the first people on the elevator. Once you are on go to the front quickly! These people in China don't play around-they move fast and furious so you have to play by their rules. I literally hid behind my 6ft husband so I could not see out of the glass, however once it started moving I took a peek and I'm so glad I did. My heart slowed down. I stopped sweating from fear, because it was just wondrous.

Once you get to bottom, there will be incredible photo ops so save some time. What's heart stopping is looking up at the top and seeing how far up those elevators started. It really is worth it, even if you are fearful of heights. My family loved it

It should read 326 meters, these two elevators much reduces the very high climb & access to the mountains top. There is a shorter elevator ride coming to a platform for this higher one.
Ride it facing out from these glass panels within the lifts, gets you a majestic view when the lifts are in motion. Lets just say the views at the top is picture perfect.
