There are a lot of Chinese calligraphies and couplets which explained and highly praised the host of the house. Especially, it is close to busy snacks street all Chinese and foreigners love.

The building is beautiful. We didn't go inside the residence but the area is alive with so many locals dancing, singing and playing cards. It is right on the river overlooking Orange Island. The entrance fee was 11RMB. Across the road is the old streets of Changsha where you will find more locals going about their daily lives.
