Xinhui is one of the most beautiful areas of Guangdong Province and all of China. The sea protects it from the storms hitting Guangzhou and Hong Kong. The warm climate is tropical most of the year. The people are so friendly to foreigners that I felt at home.
I hiked the mountain for several hours and never saw another person. Best kept secret to a country with a billion+ people.
Take the ferry from Hong Kong to Jiangmen and a taxi south. OR the new fast train from Guangzhou and taxi south.

Great spot to visit and reflect. Light a stick and pray for good health and prosperity. Easy to get to but need local to help is best. Great view of surroundings and fine Chinese art.

Guifeng mountain is easily accessible by public bus 6... but once you get off expect a lot of good hiking to get you uphill and around.... there are several destinations on the mountain, which is more like a long ridge than a single mountain, that are worth your time to go visit.... it would take two or three days to see everything there, a few temples on top, lakes, and trails thru the woods. or just relax when you get off the #6 bus (end of the line) with roller skating, kids playground, and bring your own food to rent a bbq grill space... a great place to enjoy the great outdoors in Jiangmen

The park is very beautiful and scenic. Lots to see and do, you can visit a temple and there are plenty of walks. We did grass skiing, they cut the grass real short and keep it moist...not an adrenaline rush sport but it is unique and fun.

Went with 2 friends (all males) and had to climb the mountain through ladders but very long way up.... after reaching the temple and taking some nice photos their continued going up in a paved street and so many fascinating backgrounds of river and green mountains. Started to be exhausted from elevation found a nice open air shuttle took us up few meters until reached the bridge crossing the river. Afterwards walking beside the river and forest until meeting an old Chinese guy who guided us the way down through the woods in a real adventure 😱😨😰
Through the woods passed by the side of a magnificent waterfall coming from the top of the mountain.
All the way you can capture a memorable photos along your lifetime.
If you are staying in Guzhen this will be one of the most places you should visit.

Great park for a semi grueling hike. There was no entrance fee when I went, the hike alternated between easy and slightly difficult. Some nice views along the hike but I was completely shocked when finally reaching the top of the mountain there was no view at all as all angles were obstructed by trees. Perhaps there was a path to another summit that I was unaware of. Mountain temple towards the top also made for a nice visit.

Always great personal pleasure to reach the base of the transmission towers at the top of the mountain. Great views of the lakes (reservoirs) dotting the upper valleys. Very picturesque.

I personally think it is an awesome place to get rid of the city. Not many people there, well, I mean when you walk into the forest. It was still pretty noisy on the square, but the forest was surprisingly quiet last time I visited.

A beautiful peaceful park to go on a cool day. You can talk a leisurely walk, or rent a bike, or even pay for the tram to get you around. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys nature and fresh air.

just a place to get out of the crowds, take a walk, sit around the lake, have a picnic - the green is wel kept, toilets are clean, way to the park is good, many parking spaces, also during busy times
