If you have been to HK ocean park, Zhuhai Chimelong etc, this Chuanlord Farm Resort Park would be something like a three star.

General it is clean and tidy. Detail planned and the facilities are well organised.

I have taken photos for the park information like tickets price and the aids they offer. Entrance to the park isn’t expensive but each ride has a payment. CNY 5 or 10 per person. The ticket has a package type, entrance fee plus credit to play the ride. Our three year old is free, we have four cards to top up for credit and by the end of the day we topped another 50 bulks to finish some last rides.

My three year old is just 90 cm and we were rejected in one of the kiddie roller coaster ride. We were in Chimelong a week before so I have an idea he is 90 cm. my son was upset and we go and checked the height chart. Later we found out the chart is framed. So it is indeed one cm higher than the ground. The personnel still say no although we mentioned about the frame. Kids above 1m is indeed quite okay to play most of the rides. Like the go-cart/ bumping cars, some are for kids 1.4m above.

The animals... some of them looks very hungry. Guessing they were starved in order to take visitors’ feeding. Quite diverse display and their habitat looks good.

The park is quite money-making. Anything is a few pennies but by the end of the day the cost could be huge (overpriced).

Lots of food choices, without much quality. Like the popcorn, cotton candy and the sausage, they look nice but tasteless.

Paddle boats, little train could be good for the family to enjoy. We spent 5 hours and decided not to be back. Once is enough.

When we arrived in the morning, the crowd was very manageable. The boys and I, I have two boys under the age of 6, were able to go on ride after ride with virtually no wait. Naturally, as the day carried on the crowd grew exponentially, and by mid afternoon it was a circus.

Overall, this was a great little place for the kids to visit. We were just at HK Disney last week, and they probably had more fun here because there were more rides for them and less restrictions. The short lines in the beginning of the day helped too. The zoo was great too because they got to feed the camels, hippos, deer and even pigs. I can't say I'm too fond of the way a lot of the guests treated the animal, but I also know there's a lot of ignorance in their knowledge about wild life.

This is a good little place to spend the day if you have small kids. But speaking mandarin is almost a necessity because it's such a local attraction. It's very China with the crowds, the smoking and the lack of certain western ethics; however, it's nothing that's out of the norm.

It is fun place for outing with family with children. Somehow, we found that there were not as many games as previously and we ended up spending a lot our credit in machine of toys. They used to have horse riding and other fun games.

There is animal exploitation, there is animal abuse, and then there is animal torture. This park straight up tortures animals for your viewing pleasure. While we were there we decided to go to one of the animal shows that is included in the ticket. What we saw appalled us so thoroughly that we booed and walked out in the middle of it.

First, a man with a monkey chained by the neck forces it to climb up a stage prop and ring a bell or other “cute” trick. The whole while the monkey is shaking with fear and desperately trying to avoid the stick the man is holding. The monkey is sickly looking and an obvious nervous wreck.

For the second act they bring out two large goats with bleeding knees. The goats do tricks while the trainer yells at them and threatens them with a stick. Then the trainer forces them to walk on their bleeding knees and the audience claps.

The third act featured birds with only a few feathers left performing tricks and trying not to keel over and die on stage.

That is when we left the show.
