We attended the 5th Annual La Vendemmia. I called the week before to feel out their policies and venue set up because it was forecasted to rain. I didn't get a solid answer, but was aware that they were aware and something would be in place. We drove through the winding country and found ourselves at their beautiful winery. It was raining, but we were relieved when we saw the canopy tents in place and a managable sized crowd. We checked in at the front tent. We asked the appropriate questions and were told what we couldn't do and where we couldn't go. There was no answer for where we could go. Yes, I get it. It was raining. We went inside to get our glass of wine and got a little more of the same. It was pointed out to us that other people brought their personal tent awnings. We are on vacation from Florida. We were prepared and brought proper rain gear. This is on me, but we drove 2 hours to visit and our intent was to spend the day on the property. We had come prepared and intended to stay and make the most of it in the rain. It became clear to us that this was a local thing. If you weren't in the wine club or a local that knew whomever or had a vip ticket, there was nothing thought out for our guest experience. It lacked solutions to basic problems and was poorly executed. We hijacked a small table out of the way, ate our food, drank our wine and left. We gave it a solid chance. At no point did we feel like guests on your property or felt like we were supposed to be there. That $150 we spent with you and our reservations was our investment in you. 3 stars because I have no intention of hurting your business

Wines were mediocre, at best. Highly overpriced in an attempt to pay for their new facility. Customer service was definitely lacking. It’s a beautiful location, but, that is definitely what you’re paying for. You can go right next door to Raffaldini Vineyards and have a much better experience, overall! Better wine, price point, and customer service. You do have choices. We have visited over 150 wineries, in NC alone, and at least that in all other states & countries. This Winery is definitely at the bottom of our list!

We visited Piccione on a recommendation and were not disappointed. Did a tasting with a very knowledgeable young man, enjoyed many of the wines & joined their wine club. Bought several wines, including one we enjoyed on the beautifull patio outside. Would not hesitate to recommend a visit

My favorite North Carolina winery in Swan Creek. All estate grown wines, excellent Italian varietals and other selected others. Small production, high quality. Knowledgeable gracious staff. Bring a picnic or on summer Saturdays come listen to live music. Doesn’t get much better. Right next door to my second favorite winery, Rafaldini.
