The new facility is beautiful! But we won't be seeing it again, it's simply too hard for a handicapped person to get into - parking up a hill, or down, either way the person must climb and descend, can't imagine doing that in a wheelchair. We've been members for a few years but are cancelling. Very steep steps from the "old" building to the new and no handrail - the architect clearly is less than skilled in real world applications. They advertise the building for weddings, ladies in high heels best avoid those steps.

so, i almost didn't come back. got there initially at 533pm on friday and were turned away as last call is at 530pm. no exceptions. you can buy a bottle, but you cannot open it and drink it there. went to sotrioso instead as they were open until 7pm. so, went there saturday and i'm glad we did. really liked the reds and the nero was fantastic. my wife liked the rose and the wine slushies. beautiful grounds and certainly worth a visit.

Wines were mediocre, at best. Highly overpriced in an attempt to pay for their new facility. Customer service was definitely lacking. It’s a beautiful location, but, that is definitely what you’re paying for.

You can go right next door to Raffaldini Vineyards and have a much better experience, overall! Better wine, price point, and customer service. You do have choices. We have visited over 150 wineries, in NC alone, and at least that in all other states & countries. This Winery is definitely at the bottom of our list!

Friends recommended stopping at this small cute vineyard as they said the view and wine was worth the trip from their Lake Norman home. Stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and peaceful and quiet on a Friday afternoon. The wine was surprisingly good and the grounds are beautiful. On the weekends they said you can bring a blanket and picnic as it does get crowded. I am from the Carolinas and was unaware of this little gem.

We spent an hour or so relaxing at their patio, enjoying a flight of wine and appreciating the view. Their new tasting room - La Collina - will be very nice, and they were very pround to say the construction should be complete soon. Looking forward to visiting again and see the new place.

Four of us had a brief but very enjoyable visit today, October 18th, and bought both the Pinot Grigio and Montepulciano to take home. But I am baffled by a recent review criticizing the new tasting room for lack of accessibility, because the new tasting room is still several weeks away from opening, according to our servers in what must have been the "old" room, and I could see at least three handicapped parking places adjacent to the entrance to the new one. (We need them, too.)

They are building a spectacular new facility. Absolutely charming tasting room staff and as winemaker growers, we even got to chat with their viticulturalist, which wa s a great treat. Absolutely gorgeous views.

Stopped in on our to Boone for the weekend. A few of us ordered flights with different wines. The wine was very good, scenery was beautiful and the live music was a bonus. We bought a bottle of Pinot Grigio to share.

There is a beautiful tasting room and expansive back deck with picnic tables and umbrellas. They also had a few beers and soda available as well as prepackaged charcuteries.

We love to visit wineries in NC and it’s rare to find a winery with both a fantastic view of the mountains and great tasting wine. We ordered two flights, so had 8 different wines. All were wonderful. It our new favorite winery. The new tasting room is beautiful and has only been open for about a year.

Great wine, great experience...must do activity for any wine lovers :) While the temporary tasting room may appear minimal, the wines and experience is well worth the trip! I would put this vineyard experience far above that of Raffaldini, if you were planning to visit!
