The course was an hour long. Instructions were excellent . Young people are generally in charge and lacked the the experience to instruct or correct improper usage. Stay with your kids!
The fact that gloves are required is well hidden and not on the general information page but in the receipt you receive via e-mail & then you need to read the fine print.
In my opinion this is done to sell gloves after you arrive & can’t then tell your child no.
Gloves are needed for safety ! Put it in BIG letters on the first line in the description and the receipt.
People will bring gloves to save $8.00 per child.
You can change this policy with little effort.
We enjoyed the course and would recommend it.👍

My husband and two sons had a great time. I stayed on the ground as a photographer. My boys used football gloves that they brought and they worked out great. It was a warm day so they are glad they choose a 10:15am a lot rather than later in the day. They provided a water cooler which was really nice as it was a hot and humid day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back again.

We came here as a surprise bday gift for my boyfriend. It was AWESOME!! We had so much fun. The courses were challenging and exciting and they all ended with a long zipline that was exhilarating. Instructors were present the whole time in case we needed any help and kept a close eye on us and our safety. One instructor noticed from pretty far away that one of my friends' harness had loosened and came over to secure it again before we went on the next path. That showed that the instructors are very well trained and know what they're doing. They were also really nice and all seemed happy to be there. 11/10 experience, I will definitely be coming back.

My Partner and I thought it would be a great idea to go ziplining for our first time while we were on vacation in NC, Raleigh and noticed this place while searching. We booked a reservation for 12:00pm on March 2, 2025. We got there, everything went smoothly, everyone seemed nice, and we had a great time up until the last few minutes of our adventure. Whomever our instructor was during that time, I don't remember his name, but I'm sure you guys will be able to find out who was scheduled that day for that time.. he seemed to have a few rude words on him. My partner was on another obstacle course, and told me to move on ahead, and I ended up on the same platform as our instructor. This particular one allowed you to choose between two different courses, and one of them had a Tarzan rope? if i'm not mistaken, and you zipline into a wall of ropes. I decided to choose the less difficult one since it was my first time and I wasn't comfortable doing the other, and he had the nerve to tell me, "you're choosing the pu$$y side" at first I laughed because honestly I didn't even know what to say, I was shocked that something like that even came out of his mouth; but I brushed it off and told him that my partner would do it. He then proceeded to say, "he's more pu$$y than you, i've seen it" and not only was that unprofessional, but that was completely disrespectful. I don't know this young man, so for him to even think it's okay to speak to me, or talk about my partner or anyone he doesnt know for that matter is NOT okay. Honestly I think this was a terrible attempt to fraternize with me while my partner wasn't there, which is utterly disgusting and still very disrespectful. Lucky for him, I chose to not say anything to my partner until we left because I knew he wouldn't be able to keep his composure knowing something like that was said to me. I will never recommend this location knowing that a particular instructor works there and his behavior, ESPECIALLY because this place is not only for adults, but for children too. I am highly disappointed in this location and their customer service, and I am very uncomfortable with how me and my partner were treated on our vacation.

It is self guided , you will be hooking and unhooking your own equipment for the majority of the time , and the courses are small and quick and then back to hooking and unhooking the equipment. The ziplinning part is again short and at the end of the course but it is very hard to stop on own and is a hard landing in mulch, I hit my head multiple times and got a headache . I wouldn't recommend coming here unfortunately. It's mostly a rope course with small zip line at the end but you are spending most the time just moving your own equipment around instead of having fun.

I was so excited for this and the tree top adventure was really fantastic. But the ziplines the day we were there where practically designed to hurt people. I LOVE ziplining and have done it all over the world. I like to go down backwards, so we were instructed to dig our heels in to come to a stop. There was absolutely not enough room to even really slow down before your butt and back SLAMMED into the ground. I could actually lay complete down on my back and be connected to the zipline. By the time I got to the third one, I wished there was a way to climb down the tree. Every member of my party had this same problem and our weight differential was 135-235lbs. I can't believe someone did not seriously injure themselves that day.

This place is awesome! Our group ranged in age from 59 to 6, and included all shapes and sizes. Even my grandson, who is afraid of heights, had a fantastic time! He wants to do it again. And the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. They were very encouraging when I didn’t stick the landing. And by the end of our time I was able to land on my feet!

I'm 70 but in good shape and I went with my 11-year-old grandson. It was a lot of fun and both of us enjoyed it. I won't lie, there were times I thought I made a mistake thinking "I can't do that" but going back was not an option so we both made it through.

Beautiful course at Blue Jay Point County Park. Professional and helpful staff will start your adventure off by showing you the ropes and explaining easy to follow guidelines. 5 obstacles offer varied difficulty each ending with a zipline. 2 obstacles also feature Tarzan swings into nets - so fun! Expect to get a little mulchy...the zipline landings are hard to stay vertical and you might want gloves which fit snugly. Plan a half day out of the office challenging yourself to climb into trees and choose your own path. You will love it!

Great staff
Super clean park area
Well established program with highly skilled staff.
They work great with kids that have developmental issues.
Plenty of space so you don’t feel cramped on the course.

Why don't folks wear helmets? Other ziplines and high ropes courses I've been on folks wear helmets.

Is the treetop challenge worth the money because I'm planning to go with 4 friends and the total price comes up to £170! In addition, how long does it take to complete the treetop challenge?

My family asked what I want for my birthday... and I want this! I’m the only “non-athletic” one of the 4 of us. I won’t do roller coasters because I’m scared, but I’ve lost 80 pounds and I’m tired of being scared of adventure! I know there’s a junior course, but I want us to do the more adventurous one! What does one do in this situation? Are they any obstacles that seem scary? I don’t want to end up a bystander, but sometimes my fear gets the better of me...

Hello!
How awesome that you're so actively seeking out adventure and trying to face your fears! We have had quite a few guests that are scared when they first begin the adventure. However, our instructors are wonderful about encouraging you to face your fears and realize what you're capable of. Most guests are able to complete the course and feel extremely accomplished afterward!
Of course, our adventure isn't for everyone and some guests do choose not to continue. If that's the case, you can either receive a refund (depending on where you stopped) or we can also try to get you on the Journey course if there is availability.
In short, I say go for it! You might surprise yourself!

Hi, I have knee issues. How does one stop on the zip line?
Written August 6, 2018
Hi there,
Latara has it exactly right! The ziplines naturally slow down toward the bottom, but you will be responsible for bringing yourself to a complete stop. If you think that will be an issue, we can also arrange for one of our instructors to slow you down even further prior to your landing using a system called brake-lining. We just ask that you contact us once you make your booking so we can be sure we're prepared to provide that option for you!
Cheers,
KF

What are the weight restrictions for each obstacle/attraction?
Written June 30, 2018
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out with your question! We do have a maximum weight of 285lbs, which is also subject to a correct harness fit. The maximum waist measurement of the harness is 43 inches and the leg loops (which go around the top of your thighs) is 28 inches. If you're unsure about the fit of the harness, you're welcome to stop by the cabin before the day of your event to try it on!
Cheers,
JK

A very athletic 81/2 year old wants to do the more difficult one with his 10 year old cousin. Adults will be on the course with them. Is that possible?
Written April 13, 2018
There's only one course for the 8 1/2 year old, the junior course. Definitely fun and enjoyable for kids and adults.

Others have mention Monday free admission. What does that involved? What restrictions?
Written July 14, 2016
I'm not sure because my family and I didn't go on a Monday but I'm sure if you call them they could tell you more about it. Now I'm going to check out the Monday free admission because that is really good if so!

They are pretty busy so appointment is the better option. However, if they have space, they will take you.
