Recently attended a concert here. It had been almost 10 years since my last concert at this venue. I was disappointed to learn that no upgrades had been made to the infrastructure during my absence. Sat in traffic for about an hour and a half and missed the opening act, due to the roads leading into the venue being inadequate.... More

It's a beautiful venue, I have to admit it. And they do get some top acts to perform there. But. (There's always a 'but,') the prices for everything (EVERYthing) are completely outrageous. They wanted $5 for a 17oz plastic bottle of water. That's not a typo, folks. And the "craft beers" booth had pints for sale for $14. Also not... More

This place has changed names several times over the years with different corporate sponsors (Hardee's, Time Warner, Coastal Federal Credit Union). However, the venue remains the same and is a good place to see concerts, either on the large lawn or in the seated area. Plus is that parking is free with your ticket but you will have to wait... Good outdoor venue, except in the rain. Seating is ample. Seats under the cover are preferred. Lawn is no longer a great place to sit.

I travel to Walnut Creek (now Coastal Carolina Credit Union) for concerts because it is closer than the outdoor amphitheater in Charlotte. But, I would honestly travel the farther distance to Charlotte than come here. The parking lot is laid out horribly, and it's almost like a maze to get out. The sounds of the concerts are fine but definitely... More

My fiancé & I have attended several concerts and love coming here. Parking is ample, bonus - get there when they open and get a GREAT spot without paying! The venue brings in TOP singers and there is NOT a bad seat in the house!

We went here the first time for Keith Urban in August. The venue for the show was good because we got the VIP and covered seats and paid $2xx each. It did rain lightly. The concert, all parts was very enjoyable. There were lots of places to park and lots of places to get things to eat and to buy... More

Went to the Cheap Trick/Heart/Joan Jett concert! It was pretty easy to find with Google Maps. We came from New Hope Rd., and they had it specially marked with a cop and road cones, so you couldn't miss it. We followed the signs for the General parking and was directed by some staff into parking lot G(8). We got there... More

I've been here several times and enjoyed it each time. I've actually never experienced horrendous parking like many others describe here. I always use the Jones Sausage Road entrance/lot without any issues. I've never paid for parking or the premier parking so I can't comment on that. Next, when walking in...if you use this lot (lot G I believe), and... More

I have been to many, many concerts here since moving to Raleigh in 1997. I almost feel like there should be different areas for different age groups and an area for families. The lawn was fun as a teenager but has become nothing short of annoying. If you can afford it, do the VIP entrance and get a seat or... More
