We’ve been on several trolley pub rides over the last 5 years, and while we had a good time, we’ve been on better rides before. Maybe it depends on your guide, or it could have been because there was a festival downtown and several downtown streets were closed, I don’t know, and they didn’t say. We’re weren’t given any choice on where we were going, like on past rides. Then the trolley had a problem. It clunked and clunked when taking off from a stop and going up inclines, no matter how hard you peddled, and could barely make it up the final incline to get back to the garage (had to push it into the garage). Some of the seat belts were really hard to work. I think the trolley needed some maintenance. I feel like we could have just Uber’d downtown and walked from bar to bar instead of spending almost $500 ($400 for the trolley plus tip). It was nice that they supplied the coolers and ice on the trolley so you don’t have to bring your own. I would do it again, hoping for a better guide and better trolley. It’s a fun outing for a birthday or other occasion.

We did a private tour for my husband’s 30th bday party. It was a blast! Our driver, Lauren, was amazing! I looked at a lot of different things and this was the best bang for our buck. The only things to know (definitely not deal breakers) are it is much harder to pedal than it looks! Lol it takes a while to get places. You’ll probably only have time for 2 places (which actually felt very reasonable), it is difficult to get another drink while the trolley is moving.

I enjoyed the group activity of peddaling! I also enjoyed letting a member of our group be the DJ! It was perfect for our group which was 90% Latin! Things I would do to improve the experience. One, we did not have ice for our beverages so ice would be nice. Secondly, please add toe clips on the pedals. Our feet kept slipping off the pedals and this is not very safe. Third, the seats are not very comfortable and I would add a back support. Finally, Keith was an excellent driver and guide! Give him a damn Steak dinner!!👍🏾👍🏾

Hi Horter! We appreciate the feedback following your tour last week and the kind words for Keith. I will see what I can do about that dinner! haha. Apologies if you did not receive ice as it should be provided for each tour. As for the toe clips.....we ask for our guests to wear comfortable shoes that will stay on the pedals. Toe clips are dangerous and have caused guests to trip when trying to exit the trolley. Also, all of the trolleys have seat backs including the one you were on. Based on the picture, you were on Detroit White. We look forward to seeing you again in the future!

It was fun. First of all we learned that our peddling really doesn't propel the vehicle...and one of the stops was a place that wasn't even open at that hour. Maybe communicate with them and find one open when we go. Otherwise it was really fun and I will use it in the future for a fun celebration.

We did this little excursion to celebrate my sisters 21st bday while in downtown raleigh. Dillion was our driver and he was great! full of energy even during a torrential downpour. i just wish there were covers for days like that and maybe a more powerful motor, be prepared for a workout! but nonetheless we had a great time, and we will definitely do it again!

We had a blast! Cooper was such a great driver! He made it a really fun evening, definitely helped us make the most of our ride with great suggestions for bars. Tom was also stellar to work with upfront on the booking. As two couples, we ended up taking the Tuk Tuk rather than the Trolley and even with the change in plans we just had the best time. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great/unique night out with a cruise through the downtown area! #coopertrooper

We had a group ages 17-64 and everyone had a great time. Our driver Mark was so chill and fun! He made sure that we all had everything we needed and had great recommendations for bar stops. This was a great way to see some of the city.

I scheduled a Saturday afternoon trip for my best friend's bachelorette party - only 4 girls so we joined a mixer tour and I am SO GLAD that we did. The group we were with was amazing. Laura, our driver, was a blast and we'll all be talking about this experience for years. We were able to play our own music and felt comfortable being our crazy selves. We loved the opportunity to explore the city, too. I would highly recommend!

Words can't even begin to describe the fun we had on this Pub Crawl!!! Jason stopped at the best bars, played the best music, and even joined our flash mob dance party! My cousins and I had the time of our lives! I wish we could have stayed on the trolley whole day!!!

We took the afternoon tour with our daughter and her partner - Laura was our driver/guide. Laura did a great job of pointing out interesting sights and giving the entire group a variety of activities at each stop. What a fun way to spend an afternoon.

If you purchased trip insurance and you are cancelling with at least 24 hours notice then you will be refunded all of the amount minus the trip insurance you paid. If you did not get trip insurance then you can not be refunded if you cancel.

@tarheelgirl how rude! Why are you making fun of an overweight woman when you also admitted to being out of shape. You don’t know if she has a medical condition that causes her to be unable to peddle. Don’t assume that someone is lazy when you haven’t walked in their shoes!
