This garden was delightful. A great selection of different and beautiful roses. Lots of blooming ones in late August. The garden is surrounded by tall, old trees. Very peaceful. Well maintained. Several picnic tables and benches to sit and take in the views.

Amazing that no one has commented on Tripadvisor before. History abounds in this great hall where late actors like Andy Griffith stood on this stage. This small sized performance hall over flows with current talented actors. The venue allows the guest to experience Broadway shows in a setting that brings the audience into the story. The community based theatre brings back the true pleasure of attending the arts as one is so close to the performance that you may get some stage makeup powder on you. What stage theatre was meant to be. The sets are professional and the lighting and sound are perfect. The volunteers welcome the guest with open arms and bright smiles. These people show their love for the theatre. Our recent performance that we attend of Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street was perfect. All of the actors were amazing. The story was brought to life and the emotions ran deep that night. The seats are comfortable and the air is perfect. Tasty snacks and beverages await the guest during intermission. The restrooms are clean and the beautiful gardens outside are beautiful. Take a moment and skip the large crowed halls and take in a performance here that you will walk away smiling and talking about it for days to come.

A small but beautiful rose garden, filled with hundreds of roses of all colors! Great spot for a break to "smell the roses" and get some nice pictures.

We love bringing the kids here all year round but the garden is especially beautiful in the spring. This garden makes a beautiful backdrop for family, couple or engagement photography. We've had a few friends get married as well and their ceremonies were stunning!

We took some of our engagement photos here. It is a beautiful place to hang out. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the roses and stone step amphitheater.

We attended a play in the Goodwin Theater. It is small and unique in that the seating surrounds the stage. The acting was very good, the staff pleasant and the venue very good. We will go back.

If you love gardens or roses, this place is a dream. Literally every type of rose is represented - from bush to climbing, from tiny fairy roses to huge cabbage-head English roses, from hues of deep purple to brilliant orange! We accidentally stumbled on the garden while visiting the Little Theatre and were astonished that such a beautiful garden wasn't in any of the Raleigh tour guides (that we own). That, of course, explains why we usually have the garden to ourselves when we visit. We love this gem of a garden!

I love Raleigh Little Theatre. It's a true community theatre - where volunteers do just about everything - but has professional quality performances. They do a range of shows, from comedies to dramas to musicals on their three stages. It also has an award-winning youth drama. The prices are great compared to some of the other local theatres. It's a true gem hidden in Raleigh.

This rose garden is nice. I was surprised by its small size, but I was thankful they had one. It had an arbor and a water feature but not much else.

Enjoyed the beautiful aisles of blooming roses in all colors. Many of the Roses were very fragrant as you walked past them.

Absolutely! I don't know the Raleigh guidelines about alcoholic beverages, but food and drinks are allowed for sure!

Anyone knows if the roses will still be in full bloom mid June? I know they are already blooming now
