My wife and I took the Raleigh food tour on Aug 27 2016. Our guide was Sarah and she was delightful. We started at Rye at the Marriott hotel - really good shrimp and grits. Then it was off to Tasty 8s (hot dog and fries), Vita Vite (sparkling wine), Taverna Agora (lamb chop, pita and sauces), Virgil's Taqueria (deep... More

We had a great time with the Raleigh food tour. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Some highlights were the fresh peach sangria and delicious fried green tomato from 18 Seaboard-the management was great there as well in showing us around the restaurant, delicious local shrimp and grits from Rye Bar, feta dip and hummus from Taverna Agora, and the local... This is my second tour with Triangle Food Tours. I had a great time on the Cary tour and since I recently moved to Durham, I thought taking the Durham tour would be a fun way to try some restaurants in my new home town. The tour definitely lived up to my expectations! Ruben was a great guide and added... More

We had a great time and really enjoyed every restaurant that we went to. The food was delicious and fresh and the staff at each venue was very friendly and informative. My favorite was Triangle Seafood Market. The seafood salad was refreshing and had me wanting more! You could taste how fresh all the ingredients were! Our tour guide, Ruben,... More

We really enjoyed our Cary Food tour from the hot dogs to the oysters! The chocolate cake at Once in a Blue Moon Bakery was delicious, all the stops were delicious! We learned about chocolate making at Chocolate Smiles and plan to stay at the Mayton Inn next time we are in town so we can explore their menu further.... More

This is the 7th food tour I have been on with Triangle food Tour. I personally love the downtown Raleigh tour the best. Our tour guide Sarah was incredible, she knew so many fun facts about downtown Raleigh, she was so enthusiastic you could tell she really loved her job. We stopped at so many delicious restaurants, don't want to... More

Ruben was a wonderful tour guide. He sent an email introducing himself & letting us know there would be a festival the same day. I was concerned about parking and contacted Ruben who verified that parking at the Marriot would be available. When we met for the tour he gave us an overview of the afternoon activities. I appreciated that... More

This was a lot of fun. I have lived in Raleigh for 16 years and it is always great to try the new places that open up downtown. The food was great at each stop as well as the drinks. There is a wide variety as well. I plan on visiting Taverna Agora again real soon and some of the... More

The weather held out and we have a fantastic experience with our tour guide Ruben. Starting with shrimp and grits and a fried green tomato we were a little concerned we might not be able to finish all the food at all the stops but with a stop for wonderful sangria at 18 Seaboard and a taste of wine at... Thanks for the feedback. The shrimp and grits you enjoyed were from Rye Bar and Southern Kitchen, a hidden gem inside the Marriott. Glad you enjoyed the tour experience. More

Saturday was my first time joining the Triangle Food Tours. This particular tour focused on the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area. What a wonderful experience! It started out with a lovely introduction to our Tour Guide, Aviva and the other participants. Aviva was outgoing, upbeat and really on top of her game when it came to area information and restaurant... More
