Everything is out of a can or frozen. Concentrate orange, hash brown potatoes are frozen. Eggs are real but there ain't no chickens in the area laying them. Biscuits served with jelly and butter in the small plastic packets. Corn beef hash from a can. Coffee average. Nothing is fresh, nothing is brought to this place from a farmer. Vegetables... More

Having read the reviews I was expecting a great deal more than was here. We kept wondering where all the people were and whether we'd missed half of the market soemwhere. The stalls that were there were good but very few in number. We had also expected to be able to buy meat but there were no stalls selling meat.

We had our first visit today and we will definitely be back! There was an array of fruits, vegetables, plants, and food. We stocked up on apples, houseplants, and handmade soaps for our new place. Everyone was a pleasure to talk with and everyone had a recommendation about something cool we had to check out or a good place to... More

We enjoy coming here to see the selections by the local farmers. I have been coming here since 1999 and have never been disappointed. They have fruit, Christmas trees, Veggies, Honey, and fruit trees.

We were afraid that the market would be empty, but it was not. There were lots of market stands with wonderful vegetables and fruits . We bought a Camellia plant, butternut squash, radishes and tomatoes. We had lunch at NC Seafood which had perfect catfish sandwiches. No crowds and wonderful day activity.

I'm not from North Carolina. I like to visit farmers markets to see what the community offers. Really liked the seasonal offerings like cotton or azalea wreaths. Also enjoyed buying local produce and desserts to share at Thanksgiving dinner. Worth a visit. Well done.

There are great choices. My suggestion would be to compare prices because the booths toward the entrance are more expensive than those towards the middle or the end.

We enjoyed roaming the Farmers Market, sampling goodies, and enjoying homemade items for sale. It was a fun place to visit. I wish we'd had a different car because we would have purchased some new plants for the yard. It was nice that the market is open every day and not just on Saturday morning.
