Convenient parking. As soon as I opened the truck door all I could smell were fresh scuppernongs so I immediately bought some along with other fresh goodies. We ended up with fruits and veggies as well as some delish baked goods. Some of the shops were closed due to COVID, but enjoyed checking out the others. I found a gentleman making lemonade that was the best lemonade I’ve ever tasted. Hubby and I stopped by the seafood restaurant which was a nice little hidden gem. My only regret is we didn’t stop by the section with the outdoor pottery and metalworks. We simply were too tired from our trip.

This is a good place with lots of variety. One building has pottery, metal work, wood working, pictures antiques, etc. Another has canned and various food goods. The third has lots of fresh vegetables. Would lo e to go here again when we are in the area. Didn't have time to eat at the seafood restaurant

We did the State Farmers Market Restaurant. My wife has been here before and recommended it for the family to eat here. We did put in our name and had to wait over hour to eat. This was on a Friday lunch time. Over all it was still great. Has that farm feel eating restaurant. We had a very good waitress, the food was excellent. Service was good too. I don't know if they take reservations? Just to say I still recommend this place, and will return when we come back to Raleigh, NC. Because of the COVID-19, we did not walk around the Farmer's Market.

Went to farmers market on Monday morning at 8:00am and most stalls weren't open. Came back Saturday at 9:00am fearing the rush and madness and was well pleased with way they had it laid out for Covid-19. One way walk ways, almost everyone wearing masks, and hand sanitizers several places. Most people were actually social distancing well. Really like the way laid out with stalls in entire center area and walkways across instead of the usual stalls on sides and just mass of people in the middle. Felt as safe as you can be in that environment. Good job Raleigh!!!

Ended up buying the candied pecans & loads of kettle corn of interesting flavors, old bay, sriracha? Okay they're good. Also some purple-colored green mustard & kale. However, not impressed when charged $4.50 for this tiny pack of candied pecans. Sorry but the $5 German pretzel was not edible. Otherwise nice place to check out.
