This is a good place with lots of variety. One building has pottery, metal work, wood working, pictures antiques, etc. Another has canned and various food goods. The third has lots of fresh vegetables. Would lo e to go here again when we are in the area. Didn't have time to eat at the seafood restaurant

The selection and freshness of this farmer's market was unparalleled! We visited at the height of peach and watermelon season so those items abounded but you could find practically anything else. What I did not see a lot of was certified organic produce, so, if eating less pesticides in your food is important to you, just know that here's not the place.

I found the pet policy unchecked as many walked through with their pets.

The items in the retail area were typical of what you'd find at a county fair. Overall, a nice selection that are reasonably priced where you know your money isn't going to a middleman but the direct farmer.

This is one of the largest farmers' markets you'll ever see, with pretty much any kind of produce grown in the state. It's open seven days a week. The prices are easily competitive with those of grocery stores and the quality is better.

We drove out of our way to go here on a Friday morning knowing that its february and it would not be like the peak of summer. However, when we arrived, the only vendor open was selling firewood. In the next building over, there was a vendor in a shop that looked like it might be a trinket shop that was open as well. There were many cars that drove up and turned around in just the few minutes we were on site, so it was not just us hoping to visit the market this day. We came from out of town and had been looking forward to going here for weeks.

This is an amazing farmers market. We do not have anything like this near where we live. We have a basic, small town farmers market here. My wife and I stopped by while we were in Raleigh to check this place out. Normally its not somewhere we'd visit but we were passing by and it was so massive we decided to stop. I've never seen so much produce! It was so awesome, they had everything. We had a flight the next day for 2 weeks in the Dominican Republic so we couldn't purchase anything as it would spoil in our car. However we plan on making a 2hr drive back to Raleigh from VA within the next month just to visit the farmers market. We will definitely be stocking up. This was a great place and I can't wait to return.

Went to farmers market on Monday morning at 8:00am and most stalls weren't open. Came back Saturday at 9:00am fearing the rush and madness and was well pleased with way they had it laid out for Covid-19. One way walk ways, almost everyone wearing masks, and hand sanitizers several places. Most people were actually social distancing well. Really like the way laid out with stalls in entire center area and walkways across instead of the usual stalls on sides and just mass of people in the middle. Felt as safe as you can be in that environment. Good job Raleigh!!!

Convenient parking. As soon as I opened the truck door all I could smell were fresh scuppernongs so I immediately bought some along with other fresh goodies. We ended up with fruits and veggies as well as some delish baked goods. Some of the shops were closed due to COVID, but enjoyed checking out the others. I found a gentleman making lemonade that was the best lemonade I’ve ever tasted. Hubby and I stopped by the seafood restaurant which was a nice little hidden gem. My only regret is we didn’t stop by the section with the outdoor pottery and metalworks. We simply were too tired from our trip.

This market is worth stopping in if you are in the area. Local produce available from dozens of farms, as well as meats, seafood, canned goods, nuts and craft items. Live plants and trees were available this time of year, and fresh wreaths and balsam trees around the holidays. Vendors are friendly and willing to answer questions. Bathrooms also available.

Our visit was somewhat disappointing because of the time of year we visited. There were a very limited number of farmers and vendors and most of the vendors were closed on a Wednesday. The world market was also closed..and we really would have enjoyed going in there! I give an Excellent rating because youc an tell from what little we did see during other times of the year it would be a great place to go to. Great prices on fresh produce and the quality was excellent. Friendly staff in all the booths we did walk through.

We went thinking we would find something for lunch and pick up a few snacks for our return trip home. We enjoyed taking with the farmers, about how they raised their goods, and purchased far more than expected. We got fresh eggs, carrots, kale, apple cider, jam and bread baked that morning. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the market.
