Very nice and big. I only went for the vegetables so I don't know what else if anything else they had to offer. There was a large variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs and plants to select from and all looked good. It was nice to see the area was covered so you weren't in direct sun. I didn't like the... More

The State Farmer's Market is a compound that includes an open market area under a roof. Once there, rain and hot sun are not a problem for that reason. Beyond the open market is a market building where merchants have some produce but mostly jams, jellies, soaps, honey, cold drinks, etc. You're likely to find a pepper jelly, pickled melon,... More

I love fresh food like anyone else, but this place brings it to a new level. They have an indoor craft, baked goods, fast food, and meat area inside. Another fresh fruits and veggies outside with plants and flowers as well. Many vendors are happy to let you sample their goods and will even load them for you. Most are... More

Recommended to do this icw a meal at the restaurant of the same name. Either before or after. There are a lot of things at this market, some unexpected things included large plants and flowers. The fresh products and farm-fresh goodies seemed reasonably priced but not the bargains you might expect to find.

We initially were going to go to another farmers market, but were told at the last minute about this gem. We decided to take a shot and check it out...we were not disappointed. We arrived around 10 on a Saturday and the crowd was pretty good. The vendors were all nice and there was so much to see. We had... More

If you are somewhere in the Raleigh-Durham area or plan to visit the vicinity, do drop by the farmers market at Agriculture street. The place is filled with fresh and tasty fruits and vegetables and flowering plants and bakeries and craft items. The lemonade booth is so refreshing and the indoor market has a lot of bakery items and craft... More

Passing through Raleigh, we decided to stop in at this farmers market. So happy we did! There are so many choices of fruits, veggies, baked goods, plants, crafts and so on. Some variety of veggies & fruits that I had never seen before! We spent about a little over an hour and drove away with a nice load! We bought... More

My wife and I come here nearly every week, to get our produce fresh from local farmers. There's always a great assortment of vegetables, fruits, and plants, and the fresh bakery inside is very good. The restaurant at the farmer's market also has very good food. Overall, whether to buy your own produce or to take a morning to explore... More

We stopped by the State Farmers Market on the recommendation of a colleague. Great parking and lots of space to move around, we shopped all of the fresh produce and loved every minute of it. We ended up with fresh peaches, some blueberries, amazing choices for lettuce and a promise to visit this venue again. We didn't get a chance... More

We had great fun exploring this farmers market; everything looked so fresh and good. The sellers were providing samples of their products and the prices were reasonable. Parking was quite adequate especially for handicapped drivers. Beautiful flowers and fresh fruit at all sellers stands thT were selling these items. No admission fee, great parking, and a covered area perfect for... More
