Woooooow
Marcus tandem buddy was awesome. There was a guide video on how the tandem jump was to happen. But my tandem buddy was generous in adding extra info on the importance of jumping positions. He explained the golf balls attached to the parachutes. Cris, the videographer was the absolute best! Having his face in front of mine during free fall made it not terrifying.

My friend and I visited Paraclete in February and although we had a good time, it was not what we paid for. My friend paid for “spread your wings” or 3 minutes in the tunnel. (This was confirmed when we checked-in w the receptionist). My friend got two tries in the Tunnel, at less than a minute each, and that was it. She got the same amount of time in the tunnel as I did, and I had paid for just 2 minutes - a different package called “Earn your wings”.
On top of that, every time one person in our group came out of the tunnel, there was a group in “Arizona jumpsuits” that would jump in the tunnel for a minute or two of maneuvers together and then they would come out, allowing the next person in our group to go into the tunnel. This caused each of our times in the tunnel to be less than a minute (because another group like ours was suited up, waiting and ready for their session to start on-time). (There’s a clock/timer that’s visible for each time in the tunnel, so it’s no mystery how much time you’ve had flying).
Overall, the Paraclete employees are so casual that they don’t portray (Overall) a good level of professionalism or customer service, although I did think our instructor was friendly and handled our flying time in a safe manner.

Considering the reviews that Paraclete XP had, we thought we were in good hands. We traveled from Durham then to Clayton and then on to Raeford to experience what the buzz was all about. We had called the night before and had been told we needed to be there by 10:45 a.m. We arrived before 10:45 a.m. and went through the process of signing in and executing a waiver. We were then told to take the elevator to the third floor and someone would come and get us. There we sat for nearly an hour. Two people of our party of three went up to the staff three times to see what the status was of when we would get our training and then proceed to the "experience." At 11:30 a.m. we gave up, After we had been told by the staff on the 3rd floor they had missed us and given that no one had told us that our "experience" would not begin till 11:30 a.m. we were done. We then proceeded to head downstairs and discuss with the receptionist and told her we had enough waiting and that we no longer wanted to continue to wait. We requested a refund which she said, "We don't refund. It is clearly stated on the web all over the place." Despite that the staff upstairs indicated they were at fault, despite that when we called the night before and they took our $200 plus dollars for the seven minutes the three of us were looking to indulge in this experience, we were unable to resolve with the surly receptionist the refund of monies. I do want to indicate that a staff member ran out of the place saying they were ready for us but at this point we were so not willing nor wanted to partake of this. Too bad . . as we wanted to write to everyone what an amazing experience and new memory we wanted to create together, here we write how bad this experience was.

We took my daughter and her cousin to this place for her 16th birthday. Paid $127 I think for them to get 3 minutes each. While they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They didn't get 3 minutes each. They were both shorted between 30 and 40 seconds each.
Now you may say it's petty to complain about 30 seconds...but when you pay over $20 per minute...it's not petty at all.
They have a timer inside the tunnel that runs constantly. The group that is "Flying" may consist of 6 or so people who take roughly one minute turns at a time.
For their first ride...the timer was set for 60 seconds. So I assumed they would get 2 more turns. However, their second ride the timer was set for 1:30 seconds. So I assumed they would get one more 30 second ride or even and extra 30 second on their 3rd ride.
Well...two turns was all they got totalling 2:30...not counting the time it took to get in an out (which counted against their total). So really around 2:20.
When you pay so much for a very short amount of time...you should get every second you pay for.
When we brought this to the attention to the instructor he rudely told us we were wrong and he guaranteed us we got our full 3 minutes.
I have video proof of this in case anyone thinks I'm wrong.

Visited here with my and wife and 3 friends. We had a great time with great instruction. Our instructor, David, was awesome. He was patient and positive. We all had fun but wish it could have been longer. The facility is easy to get to. Highly recommend.

We were traveling through North Carolina on the way to Maine when we discovered ParacleteXP. It sounded like fun, so we went to see what it was all about. WOW! It was so much fun flying in the wind tunnel. Our guide John was great! You get 2 "jumps" for each person in your group. The first jump is training, you get the gear- goggles, jumpsuit- for your session and the 2nd jump is when your guide takes you up- the wind velocity is really high. But you get to soar like a bird!
Learning to fly was sooo much fun! I would recommend to every adventurer.

Experience of a lifetime. My husband, 7 year old daughter and I took a break at this place on our drive to Georgia. It was a great decision, as it was so much fun. Our instructor was great. It is a top notch facility. We each got a two minute flight, at first we thought it would not be enough, but once we did it, we realized it's more than enough to get the adrenaline rush. They took pictures and video of the entire experience. Anyone can also watch it live on their website. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was an experience I will never forget. My family of 5 bought the family pkg. it might seem expensive but i promise you will want to go back and do it again. The staff were amazing. The time and patience they took with each of us really made us feel comfortable. 2 mins isn’t a long time but it is doing this. We will be going again.
