This is really the best play ground our grandson has played in a local community. He really enjoys going and having so many fun things to do and play on. From swings to climbing activities this play ground has it.

Nicely shaded, especially during those summer months. Fun, play equipment. Great place to play tag! Seating for parents/care giver where you can see most of the play area from your bench seat.

A great place to take your children of all ages. So many things to do, like climbing crossing the bridge, driving the police car, swinging etc. It is the biggest playground I have ever been on. Very safe for the children.

This is such a hidden treasure when in the Pinehurst / Moore County area...worth the drive from Rockingham, too. The playground is based on a castle theme, wonderfully laid out, beautifully constructed, with ample seating for the adults while the young and young at heart play. Nice shaded picnic areas in view of the playground. Adjacent to a parks and rec center, restrooms in walking distance. Lovely photo opportunities. Go here!

This is a place I love to take the grandkids when they are in town. A lot of fun: slides, climbing, swings, etc. And they nice thing is the shade! They will be closed for refurb from April 1st to the 5th, 2019.

Lots of climbing activities, play equipment, swings and slides. A lot of it is shaded, great on a hot summer day.

My three year old granddaughter loves Camelot Playground. It's quite spacious and there's quite a variety of activities to challenge a young one. The only reason I didn't rate these Excellent is that many of the pieces of equipment which used tires or hoses are now in need of repair. I certainly hope the Village of Pinehurst will keep this wonderful park in tiptop shape.

This is a great play area - its beyond the generic plastic areas you usually find. Primarily composed of wooden structures built to look like a castle/fort, there are plenty of areas that can accommodate different ages/abilities from climbing to balancing and just running around.
There is a picnic/barbeque area nearby, restrooms, basketball courts, more climbing structures and ample parking in a quiet residential area.

Camelot playground is a wonderful family fave! There are structures/activities for everyone from the tiniest tots to tweens and beyond! The playground is shaded by mature trees, there are picnic tables and benches throughout, and the whole playground is contained in a fence! Having only one way in/out makes it infinitely easier when chasing a kiddo who isn't ready to leave yet! Basketball courts and hardtop surfaces are just outside the playground, and sports fields are on the other side of the fence - a truly idyllic setting for hours of fun! Pinehurst Pizza is a few blocks away - run your kids ragged and grab dinner for a night of family fun!

For locals or tourists alike it is a great place for younger children to play, meet, and greet. Plenty of shady seating for parents too
