This was a great 36 hole complex. Fun golf courses with a great variety of holes. Always call in advance to check on course conditions.

They have two courses, arrived to find out one we booked was closed. Grey course. Employees told us many people had quit recently, courses were not in the shape they used to be in. They were trying to bring them back. Bunkers were bad. Hard packed with grass in them. Rough not mowed in places. Some greens had serious condition... More

In March, the Red Fox and Grey Fox courses offered reasonable rates and accepted walk-ons. Spring is a good time to work on your game without the summer crowds. Overall the staff was friendly and the course was in good shape. The fairways were green and in very good condition. The rough was growing in. I bought the BROWNGOLF discount... More

we came to a college golf tournament and this venue was well prepared for us. The staff was great and the conditions were very good for March.

I have now visited this course twice and have never regretted the time spent. It is a stop for my sons golf team every year while in North Carolina. We come down every March Break so typically the course is not in top condition but still pretty good considering the time of year. There is two courses here and I... More

This course is beautiful, challenging but a bit too long for an average golfer like me. I did enjoy it though. I did not enjoy the sourness of the starter we encountered before our play began. We were not late but she was lecturing us as if we were. We were on vacation and not at work on the clock.

This is a very nicely designed and interesting if a bit long track. Given today's economy and trends in golf, our expectations were a bit high. Most of the greens were in good condition, the bunkers needed sand and maintenance and fairways and t-boxes were a mixed bag, needing cutting and some pre-emergent. I think we'll try another course next... More

Reasonable track in average condition. They obviously didn't put down and pre emergent since there were a lot of weeds in the fairway. Fairways were generous and the greens (bent) were not bad. Clubhouse grounds were rough and renovation was needed. However, all public courses are struggling, this one included. They do the best they can do under trying circumstances.

Two 18 hole courses at Foxfire. Very good designs, pace of play was very good. Course not in the peak of condition, just aerated the greens so they were slow and bumpy. Value was outstanding just $25.
