I was thrilled to be able to see the historic #2 course, and although I didn't get to play it, it was especially gratifying just to walk around. The clubhouse and scenery were breathtaking. I enjoyed standing next to the statues, walking across the 18th...More

#2 is a classic Donal Ross course. I would recommend using caddies and walking. It is one of the easiest walks in golf. We used Rocky as our caddy. He’s knowledgeable and also entertaining. One thing I would encourage people playing #2 is don’t let...More

The course was in great shape. Expect long rounds, inconsistent staff and a course that punishes good shots at times. Some holes you can get at, others you hit great shots and are penalized. It’s not a beautiful course but it has history. I also...More

We play #2 regularly and it is a challenge, but so much fun now that it was restored to its original landscape. Wire grasses, waste areas, and the elimination of many rough areas make it interesting. Eat at the "Deuce" restaurant that overlooks the 18th...More

The whole pine hurst facility is great.. I played five of the nine courses (7,9,8,5 and 2). Many of those courses were beautiful lush and enjoyable. No. 2 was by far the worst. Very gimmicky with the crowned greens and punitive waste area not to...More

Yes the history of golf events on this course is iconic, but for the average golfer it may be a nightmare. Endless waste bunkers and crazy crowned greens make for a very difficult round. Very worthwhile experience, makes one in awe of the pros who...More

Had a chance to join a group of golfers going to Pinehurst resort. Played No 9, No 8, No7, and No2 courses. No 9 was designed by Jack Nicolas and many holes dogleg right to left which I really liked. Course condition was very good....More

This is, of course, one of the most famous golf courses in America. It is all we had hoped for. Our group of two couples enjoyed the course and its challenges. Walk with caddies and enjoy this bucket list experience.
