Love #2

Tee to green the course is not as hard a you would think. The greens are very difficult yet fun. The history of the course and caddies make for a perfect outing.

First time playing #2. Without my best game it was a challenging day on this US Open Course. But it can be played no doubt. First time hire a caddie and walk it. If he's available, get Henry. He is tall lanky and easy going. Know's the greens and helps make it a great day even if your A game... More

Super fast greens and exciting shots into the green which you don't want to miss. Wonderful place to play golf with lots of history. Great to see the statue of Payne Stewart watching over the 18th green. Good food too.

Pinehurst Number Two was memorable from the first tee to the picturesque 18th green. The history, the undulating greens and the beauty of the setting were remarkable. The Starter and Ranger were both friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Pinehurst Number Two.

What an experience. I booked by myself and was put in a group of 4. Due to rain in the morning everyone seemed to pull out. It was just me and the caddie. The rain cleared after a few holes and it seemed i had the course to myself. Challenging but fair. Simply a great course for an avid golfer.... More

Complete respect for the game of golf. Even if you don't play, #2 is a must visit. This course also has the best pro shop for souvenirs.

I played here about 3 years ago and cannot remember one hole except the 1st and that was because I birded it. The Resort is a beautiful layout and the food for dinner and breakfast were great. I don't know for an extra fee of $195.00 I didn't feel it was anything special. History says it's one of the greats,... More

This was a unique experience and would do it again. Getting caddies is worth the money, they were very helpful for where to hit and reading greens. I couldn't see the breaks they were telling me about, trust your caddie's!

Having said all that, it is not a pretty course with its extensive waste traps and natural look. It plays fair but the greens are quite difficult and you need to be on your game to score well. The caddies are a must and you have to walk, so bring your comfy shoes. Good funa and one checked off the... More

#2 is what golf is all about. It's challenging, daunting, and richly rewarding. All of the legends of the game have played here, some have won, some have been humbled, all have been enriched.
