My friend told me that he came in this restaurant before and had a very good pizza and therefore he decided to take me there for lunch.
A quiet and cozy dining room (the terrace outside must be very good in summer) and a warm welcome by the staff.
We ordered a Vesuvio pizza and a jack Daniel’s burger, together with half pint of Yorkshire rose and half pint of cider.
The service was good and quick.
My friend was asked how he wanted is burger cooked.
The food arrived in no time.
Huge pizza served with chili oil, and a big burger with a large portion of chips.
The pizza crust was fine but soft, not crusty, the tomato paste base was raw
and not seasoned, but the worst of all, the chili where Cyprus hot chili in vinegar!!!!!
I am used to eat chili, but in this case they were so much that I could not taste the other ingredients.
I recommend the pizzaiolo to taste its pizza time to time to adjust the ingredients, but please no more chili in vinegar on them thank you.
My friend was satisfied with it’s burger.
I had an apple pie with ice cream: soaked dough, no good.
And we ordered 2 cappuccino:
Came large cups of weak coffee (look like Nescafe to us) topped with frothed milk that I couldn't drink.
The beer was flat no character.
For me this restaurant serves food but it lacks passion and creativity.
My friend told the waitress for the cappuccino and we were offered 2 bottles of beers a as compensation.
Nice gesture !
May be I came at the wrong time of the year so I will come back an other time to see how things are, but today it was not a satisfactory experience !

Sorry to hear your visit was not up to my our expectations, we do however have to disagree with some points, out pizza is very popular and maybe the Vesuvio was not to your taste but we have never had complaints about it before and it is one of our best sellers. The cappuccino you mentioned is made from a coffee machine and is certainly not Nescafé. As you can see from our other reviews we always provide the best service possible and we did as you mentioned in your review try our very best to try to rectify your disappointment, so we do feel quite disappointed that you chose to review is poorly when it’s really down to personal taste.

Great trip to the brewery in the hills around Paphos. We were picked up by the brewery mini bus from our hotel in Paphos, the driver then proceeded to give us a mini sightseeing tour on the way to the brewery, including a stop off at a viewpoint for pictures. Once at the brewery we were seated and given sample paddles of beer/ cider, garlic bread ( lovely) arrived shortly afterwards. There is a tour of the brewery offered, but we declined. There was a bit of a wait for the pizza, they were busy...but well worth it . We paid €45 person for the entire trip, a bargain with unlimited drinks ( for three hours) I can thoroughly recommend the trip even if you're not a beer drinker as there a plenty of other options

Thank you for booking your Pizza & Pints package with us and for taking the time to review your experience! We are so happy you enjoyed your afternoon. Thank you for your mention of our fully stocked bar and other drinks being available for non beer drinkers. We hope to see you again when you next visit Paphos.

Visited during October 2020. We opted for the pizza and pints tour. We were picked up at our hotel by a guy named Derrick, he was very friendly and informative pointing out places of interest along the way. We then arrived at the brewery and received our tasting paddles, one of us had beer and the other cider alongside a plate of garlic bread. The beer and ciders were great. Following this we went on a tour of the brewery which was very interesting, the host Bill definitely knows his stuff. After the tour we sat back in the courtyard to enjoy our pizzas,of which there was a great selection, and unlimited beer/cider/wine/soft drinks for the remainder of the 3 hours. There was a musician called Alex playing who added to the experience. We were then dropped back off at our hotel. We had a great day and would recommend a visit!

We always like to go to the brewery, the setting is lovely and theres always a nice breeze. We met friends there for Sunday lunch we were the first to arrive and it took ages to get a drink ordered. I had garlic mushrooms to start but was a little disappointed as I wanted the pate which is fab but they had none. Unfortunately it took ages between having our starters and getting our main meals. We all wanted a dessert but by the time we'd finished our main meals the kitchen had closed!!! So a little disappointing I do think that they need more staff on duty

We are very sorry to hear you had a bad experience, we have spoken to the members of staff who were working that day to find out the reasons for slow service and issues in the kitchen, we can assure that this has been addressed and will not happen again. We do hope you are able to visit us again soon.

Always visit here several times when we are in Cyprus and have seen the place grow and develop since their inception a few years ago.
We were very disappointed to to arrive for afternoon drinks this week and be given very poor and slow service - we waited to be given menus that did not appear, the drinks that we wanted were not available and we waited for a long time for our eventual order which was not a good pint at all. To top it all off, there seemed to be a diesel generator somewhere pumping fumes into the outdoor seating area. Definitely not from the wood fired pizza oven.
A thoroughly underwhelming and unenjoyable experience. The prices also now seem to reflect that this has morphed from ‘a gem’ into a tourist destination. So long Aphrodite’s brewery and thanks for all the memories.

Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your visit, with regards to our waiting staff and service, as a returning customer you would likely have been aware of our full staff change over, this happened when the majority of our staff unfortunately left us during the closure of the brewery which was implemented by the government during the Covid-19 pandemic, this meant upon reopening we have had to hire and train a whole new team of staff, as you will be well aware we have a very bespoke product (the beer and cider we produce) and are not just your average bar and restaurant, this means training can take a little longer and be more complicated, we have had a few teething problems but again we are sure as a long standing customer you can undertand the difficulties we have had with this and are able to bear with us at this time.
With regards to the diesel generator this is postitioned at the other side of the brewery building and within no distance of the bar area so we can not understand how you have described it as "pumping fumes in to the outdoor seating area", as a working brewery this is something we have to have onsite in order for us to produce the bespoke beer and cider selection we have available, this is of course what makes us special and unique and gives us and our cusomers something they can not experience anywhere else or in any other bars and restaurants in Pafos!
We have had a small increase on prices but we still offer great value for money meals and beverages and no more expecnsive at all than anywhere else in Pafos, this has been our first price increase since we began trading in 2011 and has been calculated due to the increase in inflation and overheads, in regards to our beer and cider, we import the majority of our ingredients from around the world and we still ensure we are cheaper than the cost of a pint in the UK and a lot of bars selling lager in the bars in Pafos. We are not sure anyone can blame us for wanting to grow our business especially in today's climate when we have recently been through so much hardship due to the ongoing pandemic, we hope you can understand and appreciate this.
We are sorry to hear you were so unhappy that you will not be returning.

Have been meaning to go for ages, so when we saw it Paphos Music Lovers newsletter we decided to go here for the first time to what they called a 'cider festival'. Wasn't what I would call a 'festival', but we had a great afternoon out, and enjoyed the drinks, food and the live music. 'New Rules' were indeed superb. Loved the draught English style Yorkshire Rose beer, and the scrumpy cider. The moules frites were great, and very reasonable, as were the fish and chips. Portions were humungous. Our only disappointment was the chips, which were simply too big. They were freshly cooked potatoes, not frozen, but they were simply cut too large. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there were loads of them. Our overall bill for 3 people was just under €70, so it is not a cheap lunch out, but for what we had we all agreed it was good value. Not somewhere we would go every week, but rest assured we will return.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us and for leaving us a review. We are pleased you enjoyed your meal and the entertainment we had on for our cider festival, we are currently limited to how many we can seat due to government guidelines around covid, this also restricts us from being able to let customers move around freely which may have meant the festival was not as we usually have. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

I am a local and this was the highlight of my trip to the Paphos area. We were a large group of 10 people and had the chance to try 4 different kinds of pizza and their succulent fish and chips. Everything was excellent. I like the fact that the owners go into the trouble of serving fresh hand cut chips while 'upper class' fish taverns at Latchi serve pre-cooked stuff. Beer was quite good, too. Highly recommended!

Absolutely legendary! The GM (Kev I think) and Becka are absolute legends
Becka did nothing but abuse us for just being there 😂 as a Bradford lad this was very much encouraged and appreciated
The beer, cider, food and entertainment was 100% top level. By far our best day of our 9 day trip. We had to come twice and today was our second day 😁
We're even considering a 3rd day for the cider launch... Absolutely gutted we have plans but we MIGHT be able to rearrange
25% tip for the staff for an awesome service and an amazing pizza (Get the spicy one, I believe it's called Vesuvius or something)
10 out of 10... Genuinely cannot fault ANYTHING
Becka, Kev, you are both epic 😁
See you soooooooon!! ❤️

We booked a beer quest package and so we were collected from our hotel by Bill, one of the founders of the microbrewery. The tasters of beers were a great size, and the bbq 4 course meal was fantastic. Bill took us around the brewery and explained the processes in each stage, this he did with passion, great knowledge and expertise, he was also very entertaining. The food and drink was served to us by very pleasant staff members.
All round great experience and thoroughly recommend it.

Having previously visited this place and sampled there lovely pizzas we decided to go back this year with family. On arrival we was seated quickly and informed of the ciders that where off the menu that day. We choose our pizzas and started to order them with the waitress who then told us they do not serve Pizza’s on a Wednesday. We felt this should of been pointed out when we arrived as the ciders where and it should also be stated on the menu. We looked again & reordered after a while one of the waitresses came up to clear our plates only to find out we hadn’t actually eaten yet. She didn’t seem to bothered and just went off. After waiting 2 hours for our food my mother in law got up to find out where our food was. We was told they would look into it & offered us free drinks the food came out swiftly afterwards. The food was ok but nothing special. Mine had a hair in which the owner did refund me for & apologised. We got our bill and paid up we did mention to the staff that it should really be made clear that Pizza’s are not served in a Wednesday as they have a sign out in the road side advising pizza & beer. We was told if you look on the website it says there. Such a shame we had a bad experience as we loved it last time but whist we was there we noted quite a few discrepancies with other customers.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience with us, we do note on our website and social media platforms that booking in advance is strongly recommend and at this point you would have been advised that our pizzeria is closed on our Wednesday to allow our pizza chef a day off, we also have notes on the website that this is the case. As for the cider being unavailable, this often happens with products in small microbreweries such as ours, as we brew our products on site we often sell out of products before the new batches are ready, this is especially more so in the busier summer months, this is also advised on the website.
We are sorry that you feel we did not try to rectify your issues at the time but in comparisons to our other reviews we feel that this review is unfair, the website should have been checked in advance as we have done everything we could possibly do, if you do not contact us beforehand to enquire it is beyond our control.

Sorry it is a late reply,.. The tours are quite informal and run at same time each day - the owner loves doing them so I am sure it would run even if it was only one person!
A must go - best place to eat & drink in the area

Hi there.........either the Tour Rep or Hotel Reception will be able to give you exact timings and also the closest pick-up point.
The Brewery itself is definitely worth the visit with a tour available of the process. The Food and Drinks are top notch.

We had a full afternoon all inclusive which gave us the tour, a tasting paddle of beers or ciders, 4 course meal and all drinks. If you couldn’t eat the pudding they offered to pack it up for you to take, cost was 50 euros through our rep. Lovely family run business.
