Well worth the visit!

What a wonderful hidden gem. We spent way too much time and money here than intended! Well worth it. Loved the local art, craft items, and ambiance. Great outdoor area and a ton of driftwood in all shapes and sizes. Even teen boys enjoyed the experience and they hate our shopping excursions! Thanks, will be back!

Unique art, gifts, and gardens

Lovely local art gallery that had unique and special treasures. No cheesy touristy t-shirts or junk here. My 2 teenaged daughters loved the handmade jewelry. I picked up 2 paintings from a local NC artist. Don't miss the lovely gardens out back filled with art and driftwood pieces for sale... And the chickens! ♥️

Total Joy

This place is completely amazing. If you are an art lover this is definitely a place to see. It is very charming and very inviting. You will just want to buy everything in the store and take it home. They also opened a second location in Duck which is just as beautiful. I say this location and the Duck location are a must see.

Arts and crafts shop
Oct 2020
We visited here as part of our morning local art gallery tour - (pick up the Nags Head gallery guide available locally). While I enjoyed this place it felt more like a unique gift store than an art gallery. There are nice arts and crafts work here. There were lots of crystals as well. I enjoyed the repurposed artwork. This was the most busy of all of my stops which may well have limited what I could easily browse through.

Creative and amazingly unique items. There was a variety of price points so anyone could find something. Love the repurposed and upcycled items. A must visit!

Seagreen Gallery has become a must-stop for us every time we're in the Outer Banks! We have been going there for several years now, and it's always fresh! So many great artists and craftsmen represented there, and so many awesome and wonderful things to look at and buy! GO....you won't be sorry!

Family-owned and operated, the Seagreen Gallery is “not a store but a destination. A place to let the imagination grow and the soul wander.” As self-proclaimed and colorfully illustrated on their website. I’d agree that not only will your soul wander, but so will your body as you meander up and down the aisles taking in the art. I carefully use the word “art” and not “merchandise” because their items are truly unique. Sourcing from independent artists around the world, 60 local artists, and making most items themselves, their theme is based on recycling old to make new. Think recycled antiques, farm objects, barn wood, licence plates, antique bottles and windows, things from the sea and things from nature. Examples include doormats made out of flip-flops, signs from license plates and fork jewelry. Even if this doesn’t sound like your forte, you can spend hours in this gallery looking at the all the cool transformations from trash to treasure, from drab to fab. However, more than likely, you’ll be hovering over each piece kicking yourself wondering silently, “why didn’t I think of that?”

Perhaps more inspiring than the gallery’s interior is just a few steps through the back doors. A little slice of fenced-in heaven that you’d never know was there. A secret garden hide-a-way adorned with trails, tropical plants and eclectic decor. Ponds with flowing water provide habitat to Koi of all colors, frogs, and turtles of several variety. Rabbits make themselves at home eating vegetables from tomato and pepper plants and young chickens range free as they please. If you have kids, good luck getting them to leave. It took us forever to get ours to come along. And, when they finally do, you’ll discover a live iguana by the front door they’ll want to pet.

This is definitely a place to check out. The staff is super friendly and there is something for everyone. Just remember, their inventory is ever changing because most things are one of a kind. If you see something you like, pick it up without hesitation. Chances are, it may not be there next time.

“don’t judge a book by it’s cover”

This is a gem of a shop! Neat stuff and eclectic items are plentiful and a sweet scent that permeates the whole place made it so desirable. We found the lovely stones for our collections and discovered a unique garden behind the shop where the rabbits are. We were so happy to stumble upon this place at the last day of our visit and can’t wait to be back again.
