The pier was very clean and plenty of room for all to enjoy. The temp was in the 70 and the fish were biting only bait size but it was fun and relaxing. Did not have a pole but they rent them. 12.00 to fish 2.00 to walk on pole rent for 10.00. Fun day for all.

Great location, surfing, beach, walking, surf competitions, awesome live fish tank and information, fishing license, gift shop, views, fishing, and Sam & Omies restaurant (best breakfast!) across the street and next to RV Cahoon's market (steaks, fresh veggies, sandwiches, milk, wine, sunscreen, fishing tackle, misc hardware, etc.)

This is a great fishing pier to start with, but it is so much more. It is ran by North Carolina Aquariums and has some great educational and informative displays. The pier itself has a system that harnesses energy from waves that makes it very self-sufficient. - Very cool ;-) Going into the pier house is free, but going out... More

What a Stunning place! LOST OF WORDS!! Its definitely a Fishing Pier, don't expect to be walking down the pier without seeing some one skinning a Fish that they just caught!! But the difference with this pier is they CARE!! This is a fairly new pier that was built back in 2011, from a hurricane that destroyed it. They have... More

Even without fishing, this is a nice spot to just walk and talk. The aquariums inside were well stocked with fish. Good sized gift shop.

Jeanette's Pier is a great place to fish if you are into that - for myself, it's all about the gift shop. Although not cheap, it has a great selection of gifts to choose from - always get something for my grandchildren here when I visit.

This was a great fishing experience. We caught several blues and very good eating size. The pier had all the amenities one would expect and the weather was fine :-)

Fishing for fun and relaxation. Talking to those on the pier is an added bonus! And check out the gift shop for tax free souvenirs to benefit the Aquarium!

It was too windy to surf fish, so we spent the day sitting on the pier watching the fishermen. It was just as much fun as fishing. The pier is beautiful and well maintained. The gift shop has a little bit of everything and, because it is a non profit, there is no sales tax. It is a part of... More

My six-year old grandson and I did the Family Fishing Program at the pier today and had a wonderful time. Mr. Rick, the instructor was very knowledgeable and patient with us during the 2 hour program. He helped us learn the basics and have fun doing it. Management gave my grandson a certificate and passes to use on the pier... More
