Wonderful tour with Capt. John and Marine Biologist AKA first mate Jessie. Blessed with many sightings and opportunities for a photographical field day including nursery groups, younger dolphins playing and jumping while moms kept an eye on the young. Many very close to the boat for fun pictures. Very interactive for kids who assisted Jess with various ecological-environmental tests (salinity,... More

Captain John and first mate Jess were amazing. Jess has so much information on the dolphins and gets all the kids involved. On our day out, we saw dolphins within the first 10 minutes of leaving the docks. My 4 year old was ecstatic with the sightings (we saw a pod of around 10) and Captain John let her sit... More

We saw lots of dolphins on a fun tour with a very knowledgable guide. She got the kids involved in the 'data collection' and explained a lot about monitoring the dolphins and their history.

We were looking for a new adventure for our vacation in the OBX this year. So after reading the reviews we chose a dolphin watch . What a great experience . Both the Capt. & his first mate Jess were great. Jess gave us so much great information about the Dolphins and the Outer Banks that all of us came... More

Was a wonderful enjoyable 2 hour boat ride with Liz and Captain John. They where very informative and fun with the kids. We saw a lot of dolphins and Liz was able to answer all the boats questions. It was a great way to spend our evening would do it again !

Looking for something a little more relaxing to do towards the end of our vacation, we found this dolphin watch tour online. The price per person was pretty reasonable, and I had seen similar tours that were more expensive. The "first mate" was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a lot of information on the way out to see the dolphins.... More

I would suggest this as an activity to do when you need a bit of a break from the sun and the beach. After two hot and sunny days and our skin needed a bit of a break from the sun and surf this was an ideal activity to be out on the water and enjoy the views that Nags... More

Took my three teens and elderly in-laws on this excursion, and it all went fine. The captain did his best to find dolphins and was successful towards the end. The view was very beautiful, even if we didn't see dolphins. There is a reseracher on board that kept the kids entertained with facts about dolphins. It is a covered boat,... More

Ok, this is our second Dolphin excursion. Nags Head Dolphin Watch was great, nice comfortable boat, shaded (covered top), super fast to get you out and back quick and more time out with the Dolphins. Very pleasant Captain and friendly and knowledgeable 1st Mate. We spotted about 30 dolphin. At the end the 1st mate Jessica did some tests and... More

They did more than just found the dolphins and let you see them. There was a researcher on board that interacted with the entire group. She even made sure that kids were included. Didn't just feed you with useless knowledge. She really listened and answered all questions that were asked. Will definitely go back again. Loved it!
