We always have fun walking the Dunes and looking at the amazing ocean view once you climb a high dune. We spent time watching the hang gliders taking off which was a beautiful thing to see with their vibrant colors.

Very nice place for a family to visit. You can let small children have the run of the place and burn energy. Great place to take pics.

Every time we visit the Outer Banks, we love going to Jockey Ridge. We take our dog and explore the dunes then end up walking back by the Sound. Good exercise and the scenery is beautiful.

I have been going to the beach for 43 years and this never ceases to amaze me . The views are amazing and the sunsets are breathtaking. They are free to walk about and the park rangers can answer any and all questions.

We enjoyed this trail and learned a lot. We did see quite a few tracks and it was a fun way to explore Jockey's Ridge in a different way.

A wonderful way to see sand dunes that are not available like his on the east coast. Lots of climbing, but so worth the effort!

Never seen anything like this. Beautiful, rolling dunes going on and on. In the distance, potential hang gliders learning the art. Very cool! Walk for 10 minutes to the waters edge and behold!

Nice experience for those who never experienced desert dunes. Climb the dune, go down the dune, see the different animal tracks, that's pretty much it.
