Every time I have visited these outlet stores, the employees have always been very nice and treat the customer very well. When I went in February, the employees in the G.H. Bass Shoes and the Nautica outlets were very accomodating. I was actually persuaded to purchase a pair of shoes (with the deep discount I received) and shoe conditioner (by the recommendation of the employee who sold me the shoes). Very friendly and accomodating employees at this store. While I didn't buy anything at Nautica, I was very impressed with the customer service here as well.
I don't know if it's a "North Carolina-thing" or just that these two stores do a great job in screening their employment candidates, but our experience was made great by the employees at these two businesses.

We have enjoyed shopping at this mall for years. Brick & Mortar establishments have had a tough time, with Covid and internet sales. This mall is not immune from those struggles but it has maintained a good active occupancy and it is well maintained. That seems to be a trait of Tanger Outlet properties and they should be credited. If you are vacationing on the outer banks, or live here and need something, consider a stop here. We have to support our local stores and, as well, we can benefit with good products and services.

We always seem to manage to go to the Outlets at least once every trip to Nags Head but I noticed that many of my favorite stores are no longer there. The Coach Store, the leather store and the kitchen store are gone, along with several others. No matter, it is a good place to spend some time and even sit a spell an watch the sound side.

We stopped to kill some time and my wife really liked the stores. My sisters did as well. They all came out with some bags, so that means good stuff for them. And they are all pretty frugal shoppers. I didn't shop much but did get to pay for stuff. Good luck.

Some of the better shops are gone ( Coach, bookstore, jewelry, souvenirs). Prices are not better than most retail malls and some merchandise is of lower quality. No sit down restaurant. Crew and Banana Republic are probably the best if they have sales. Plenty of free parking. Coupon books exempt most desirable brands. Ample free parking.

We come to this outlet every year and were so disappointed when the Coach store was not there. It was our traditional starting point! We moped thru MK which did have a nice selection but our whole trip was ruined that we did not visit the other stores. This Outlet is small so the drive down from Duck may not be worth it if you are looking for certain staple stores.

I stopped by the Tanger to check out the Merrells Outlet. I found it very difficult to move about in the cramped parking area a bit the Merrell outlet was outstanding. Picked up some shoes at half price and a nice pair of shorts.
Worth the hassle to go but could use some better parking.

The shops were really nice. The place was clean and well laid out. However, the BEST thing was the FREE magic show by Stanley the Magician. We say the airplane advertisement while we were sitting on the beach. I thought, well this would be perfect! I can go shopping with the ladies and the guys and kids and see a free magic show. It was great - we shopped, they saw a free show and one of the kids even got to participate in one of the magic tricks. I hope Tanger does this again next year because now the kids are asking us if we are going shopping there again NEXT year so they can see the free show again!! Imagine that - kids asking to go to an outlet shopping place! Tanger - you really did something good this year - keep up the good work! Also, everything is on one level so you don't have to worry about steps.

This Tanger Outlet does not have as many stores, so shopping is limited. There is a Coach, Gymboree, Polo - which I thought was high, Izod, Bass, Hanes, Eddie Bauer, Rack Room Shoes, Gap, Nine West, Tommy, book store, J Crew, kitchen, perfume, and several more.

Lots of shops closed down. Outlet isn’t as nice as it used to be. Gave me something to do on a rainy day.
