The greenway starting at Riverside Park is very quaint. It follows the river so the views are pretty. There are businesses along the way so it was neat to find new places that I had not seen before. It is mostly flat and paved. There...More

The Riverside Park walkway is paved and parallels a nice stream. It's a great place for a walk or a bike ride and a very nice place to give your pooch an exercise walk.

We came here to hike around the lake. We did the less than a mile trail. The trail is paved and could easily handle a wheelchair. Superb restrooms near the picnic tables and permanent cornhole games.

As a Mt Airy resident I bike this trail in the park whenever weather permits. In all it covers about an 8 mile loop. The park entrance on Riverside drive has restrooms, skating area, and a really cool playground with replicas of the town of...More

I visited the park with a friend to ride bicycles on the greenway trail system which starts at the park. Parking and restroom facilities available here. The bike trail follows the Ararat River for several scenic miles with slight undulations and turns. Paved surface makes...More

Love this place, just a couple of blocks from Downtown Mount Airy! So many things to do, open every day daylight to dark. Pack your bicycles and your fishing poles!
