Tastings are done in flights now because of COVID. We ordered our flights and they were delivered to us out on their beautiful patio. The patio is large, has heaters and fans, is covered, and overlooks the vineyard. Very easy to social distance out there. Wines are presented in small plastic cups on a board. We liked several of the wines. It was a relaxing and nice experience.

Beautiful setting with a covered back deck that overlooks vines and the mountains. Frisbee golf to keep you entertained and you are welcome to bring a picnic to eat. Staff was friendly. Did not really care for the wine, but the beer was great and a good variety. You can get a pint, fill growlers and some were available by the can to take home. A very pleasant fall afternoon.

We stopped by here later on a Saturday. It wasn’t busy at all and they were preparing for a wedding out back. I am not a wine snob by any means and I totally understand why they probably did it given the current timeframe and all that is going on, but tasting and serving the wine in plastic cups totally turned me off. And the wine kind of seemed to have some kind of aftertaste that I just didn’t like. I’m not really sure why. The upside was you could walk through the Vineyards where we couldn’t do that at the other two wineries we had visited. The owner was on a golf cart going back-and-forth from where the wedding was going to be and even offered to give my husband a ride to the top of the hill since he was wearing a boot due to an injury. He was very hospitable and nice. Disc golf was being played through the vineyards and I thought that was a neat little extra.

When you are traveling on Rt 77, make a point to stop at exit 100, Round Peak Vineyards. Take a break from driving or visit the are for the weekend. The scenery from the patio is breathtaking and you get to enjoy a great glass of wine or an excellent craft beer. Bring your lunch, stay awhile, you will always come back!!

Beautiful scenery overlooking the mountains and vineyards. The staff was very friendly and accommodating our request. Left with two bottles of great local wines.
