Recently introduced ourselves and our grandkids to the Greenway. Great for strolls, jogs, bike rides or just sitting along the path or river for peace and quiet while still close to civilization.

This is a nice place to walk along side a river with plenty of natural shade. It isn't very long but there is talk about making it longer and connecting it to downtown Morganton. That part probably won't be as nice but still a sheltered...More

I've walked and biked along the Catawba River Greenway many times. It's a fairly level paved path running alongside the Catawba River for at least 9 miles in a wooded area close to town. A real gem for nature lovers and enjoyable during any season.
