We had a large group and took the every seat on the boat for 2 days of diving. Seas were rough on one day and the crew came around and offered sea sickness glasses, candied ginger, and snacks to help the sick people. We did some inshore diving on the rough day and the 2nd day had beautifully flat seas so we were able to get out to the U352. Visibility was not perfect, but no one can control that. The crew did a great job with the dive briefings and were very helpful getting back on the boat.

The crew and the boat were excellent. Bobby and his crew were excellent and made safety their main priority which I appreciated. They boat is a great platform to dive off of and their safety stop set up is excellent. The weather didn’t allow us to go offshore most days but not for lack of trying on the crews part. I very much look forward to diving with them again.

I did an inshore in 2018, an offshore in 2019 and was back for an inshore 2 tank dive today at the Indra wreck. Dive Master Chris was awesome, Tom and Mike & the Captain ran a tight Operation on the boat. This operation is professionally well run and offers safe and enjoyable diving experiences. Saw barracuda, flounder, octopus and large bait balls. No Sand Tigers like my previous dives but that’s OK. Next time!

My main complaint is how Olympus managed/booked my dives, which together with other actions (mentioned below) indicates that dollars are their main concern. In brief, when booking, I explained that I would stay around for 3 weeks, that my main goal was to try to dive with sharks (being aware that Olympus cannot control nature, of course), and that I could only afford to go diving in one day because I was paying nearly 300USD (with gear rental); which I considered very expensive! And at the end, they took me out at sea in a day (04th of July 2022) that they knew from the very beginning they were not going to the usual offshore spots where there are better chances of seeing sharks, fact that was told to me by the crew after the dives, because of the bad weather conditions. They have could have simply informed me that that day wasn't the best and that I could have passed /waited for a better one!; but they just though about being paid that day!
Apart from that:
1) the booking was terribly managed given that they stress a lot with having everything paid in advance,
2) I was about to miss a confirmation because they cannot do an international phone call (so why to bother asking my contact?),
3) they should have never left the harbour with that bad sea conditions (and I'm used to oceanic sailing with >60,000 nautical miles), which resulted in two very bad dives (consensual to all divers onboard); the underwater visibility was 3 meters at most!
4) ashore, no one from the stuff helped carrying any of the rented gear, and even if it is raining hard, they will obligate you to wash the rented equipment under the rain! Even if you're not young!
5) when I talked on the reception about my disappointment, the only words they said were: "Do you want to book again?"! And no discount can be made even in these circumstances!
6) even though the boat could not sail to the offshore diving points, I paided the full fuel fee!
7) the 'full-day trip' arrived at the harbour at 1 p.m.!
Finally, about security:
8) unless you will pay for a diving guide, be prepared to dive without one, even with bad sea conditions and visibility. I'm a PADI Rescue Diver with >500 dives worldwide, but I have never seen that! Instead, a diver from the staff dives alone before the clients to install a line that the divers should follow, which will then be collected after all divers get onboard. If you're not an experienced diver I recommend to pay for a guide.
Overall, I paid nearly 300USD for a trip with 2 very bad dives and found a 'cold' staff ashore that didn't care about my intentions. Note that I'm not complaining about not seeing sharks, I'm complaining that my chances were almost none before they decided to go out, and they didn't informed me about that (if they have done so I would accept or not the conditions!). I believe that, because of the long-time that the company is operating and of being relatively well-known in the area, it once had a soul. But nowadays, it looks like you're buying an insurance or a flight.
My final words go to the staff onboard, that was very professional and knew what they were doing, and also the gear was in good condition. Apart from that, it's all about dollars!

Olympus is a very professional and organized dive shop and highly recommended for the area. The downside of diving with Olympus (along with the primary competitor in the area, Discovery Diving) is their offshore diving policy. If the weather conditions flip for the worse overnight, as they so often do, and the boat operator opts to dive the inshore wrecks (which suck…it’s like having a wreck in the middle of the quarry..same effect), you are still being charged full price. They will not offer a reduced price discount at all. They should, they are not having to travel that far off shore and saving a lot in fuel expenditures. Also, some of their decisions to stay ‘inshore’ can be questionable. Ive been on the boat with both of these operators and I’m told we have to stay inshore due to rough weather, and then I’ll find out later that some other operator in the area made it to the offshore sites that very same day! Sometimes it’s debatable. I mean it’s never really a perfectly serene sheet of glass out there, I’m spending a lot of money, traveling far, and prefer the better dive sites unless it’s really bad. Sometimes I’m curious if they default to the inshore wrecks a little to often.

Went in looking for some fins trying to support local instead of just ordering online even though I knew exactly what I wanted. Staff was so unfriendly they lost out on what would have been a 200 dollar sell, and probably trip sales with their dive boat as well. Would not recommend anyone going any here and trying to deal with the sales ladies attitude.

Was able to spend two fantastic days diving with Olympus this week and the weather was perfect, the wrecks were awesome as always and the crew and staff are the best in the business. They are running smaller groups because of social distancing, wearing face coverings , washing hands frequently and all the other suggested/required precautions and yet made the days simply great. I cannot wait to get back there

Never get tired diving the graveyard of the Atlantic with Olympus. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I've dove with Olympus about a dozen times and every time I go it seems I make friends from around the country and come away seeing something on a wreck I hadn't seen before.

First Nitrox dives. Dived at Caribsea wreck amongst shiver of sand tigers, school of barracudas and amberjacks. Truly awesome. 4th timing diving with Olympus crew: Captain Bobby, Travis, Matt and Thomas. Amazing crew. They run a tight ship that prioritizes safe and fun diving. My dive guide Bill was fantastic! Will definitely dive with them again.
