This is a beautiful town to visit and lots of things to see at the antique market. This is a must trip for you especially since there are several antique stores in the town.

could use more small collectibles
May 2017 • Couples
This is a 5,000 square foot antique shop. We are more interested in small collectibles and they had some here but not that much. Their main thing was furniture (painted and natural). They also had art, lighting, tools, glassware, and different odds-and-ends. The main aisles were wide and clear and the booths were well organized.

There was one booth that was cluttered and we just walked past that one. It isn't worth tripping, knocking something over, or having to climb over, move items, or squeeze through an opening to get to something. No one was at the desk when we walked in but the person there as we left didn't acknowledge us at all.

Great store for antiques at reasonable prices!

Small store but filled with all kinds of goodies! If you are in the area its a great place to stop in and visit. They have a little bit of everything. Everything from antique jewelry, to farm equipment, to vintage signage. I come here for gifts a lot because you can usually always walk away with something at a very good price.

Smaller than your average Antique Mall but certainly worth the trip

I was impressed with Wendell Roberts, owner of Monroe Antique Market and his willingness and friendliness to help me locate an item I have been unable to find.

The prices were very reasonable. I saw a fireplace mantel much like one I had purchased several years ago and it was priced less than half what I paid for mine. No boutique items all antiques.

If you are looking for a specific item give the shop a call and ask them if they have it, they may not but they will be willing to keep an eye out for you.
