Best Winery in NC
Aug 2021 • Couples
Best winery in North Carolina! Gorgeous views, amazing owners and staff and delicious wine! And if you’re hungry you have to try the black bean burger, made in house.

Stunning view, great wine and good food
Mar 2021
Pleasantly surprised is an understatement... First, the view is breathtaking and unexpected. I would highly recommend viewing a sunset here.

The wines were great and they offered several choices. I enjoyed the Cab Franc but especially so their Merlot which is not overly dry. They do offering tastings which I recommend for those unsure of their preference. They also have a Cider but I did not try that on this round and stuck to the wine.

Their food is excellent too and not just the charcuterie board you'd expect - they had an actual burger that is the best I've had. I got a PB Burger - a local favorite with pimento cheese... As a non-southerner I didn't even know I liked pimento cheese!

Another benefit was the live band they had that really added to the ambiance and thankfully it did not sound like a rock concert and we could still enjoy our conversations.

Great wines, good food, friendly service... I will most certainly be returning.

5 Starts isn’t enough!!

Let’s start with the view! It is absolutely breathtaking! From the time we first got to Parker Binns to the time we left, we felt appreciated and cared for! All of their wines are fantastic but my favorite would have to be the Kangria! I also ordered the PB burger from their burger barn and it was THE BEST burger I have ever had. If you have not been here you are missing out. It’s such a good time!

Prepare to be ignored
Mar 2021 • Couples
Scenery is wonderful. Wine is very mediocre. Service is deplorable. Upon arrival, be ready to flag someone down to find out where to sit, then sit for at least 10-15 minutes before someone brings you a menu. Then get rushed through your order bc they are “so busy in the kitchen”. Then sit there and be ignored until they are ready for you to pay and leave to clear the table. Never been treated so rudely for attending their business. We really seemed to bother them simply by showing up.

I am so sorry your visit to Parker-Binns was not a great experience because we have built our business on treating people the way we would like to be treated. There are times when in any business things can happen that create chaos and that Saturday we were short of servers and did have some turn around time on getting to people. I would like to invite you guys back for a free tasting or glass of wine and a chance to enjoy a much better experience. We do care about what you think and do appreciate all our customers. Please give us another chance. Truely sorry, Karen Parker-Binns

Great property, with really good wines and great views!
Oct 2020
We love visiting the many wineries available within an hours drive of Black Mountain and Lake Lure. We saw the sign for Parker-Binns for the first time while coming back from another winery. We were quite please with our experience. We were fortunate to be served by Karen the owner and learn about the winery. We did the wine flight, and enjoyed all of the wines. We also had the charcuterie board which was good.

Enjoyed the wine tasting as well as opportunity for lunch. The vineyards are lovely in the background to an outdoor covered seating area w fans. Enjoyed the wines overall particularly the award winning Merlot. The charcuterie board was great to enjoy w the wine tasting. We also had burgers afterwards for lunch. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful setting for a bottle of wine
Jul 2020
We enjoy visiting various NC wineries and decided to try Parker-Binns during a recent trip to the mountains. The winery has a beautiful view and has plenty of seating. We went for a tasting ($15 each- higher than most others). This included 5 wines and 1 dessert wine. The wine is priced from $20 and up per bottle. We enjoyed the wine but can't say that it stood out from others that we've had.

Nice place to spend afternoon with friends
Nov 2019
This place seems to be in its own space away from crowded areas of other vineyards in other nearby communities in this region of NC. The facility is beautiful and substantial! Meaning plenty of room for you, friends & family to enjoy. They have a nice covered outdoor bar area as well as a very nice indoor area, so don't let weather necessarily stop you from going. The view is beautiful and not only do you overlook the vines, but they have llamas ( or alpacas, I'm not an expert on the difference ), some donkeys and a very friendly vineyard dog. ~ Yes, they are dog friendly to friendly dogs that are leashed. Karen is very friendly and hospitable. Another plus is the food which doesn't always exist at these places. The burgers were all tasty for our group of 6. All good yet I have to say that overall the wine has a ways to go. It is priced fairly however but just know that if you taste wine and attend wine events frequently, it's not a fair comparison to what you may be used to. Just enjoy your time supporting a local, family run business.

Family owned. A lovely spot. Killer sunset. Yummy food and decor. This is the place to do a tasting or hang for the afternoon. Each wine had a great story and is delicious. You will not be disappointed

Great visit!
Sep 2019 • Solo
If you like wine and are in the Asheville or W. NC area this winery is definitely worth your time. Not only is the wine very good and scenery beautiful, but the owners are engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. It's a nice vibe here so plan to spend some time enjoying the wine, various outdoor seating, and Great mountain scenery.
