Pleasant multifaceted environment nearby.

Any local value such as Lake Michael I add to my list of things that make living here in Hillsborough truly great. Although it was season's end and the paddle-boats were not available anymore, the shelter with very well organized activities and food service courtesy of our senior center staff made for maximal use of this venue. Other guests and families clearly enjoyed the day there. It was a memorable event.

Paddle Boats and cookout
Jun 2019 • Family
I go every year more than once here. The lake is amazing, you can paddle boat, fish, go for a ride in a pontoon boat, nature walks and several picnic areas. I love this place. If you haven’t gone please try at least once.

Nice short walking trail
Mar 2019 • Couples
The lake looks like it would be good for kayaking, and the trail was easy to find and follow. There's a playground for kids at the trail head.

Nice walk after traveling all day
Jul 2018 • Couples
My wife and I wanted to find a place to walk to stretch our legs after riding in the car all day. We hiked the Blue Mason Hall trail. It is a very nice 1.05 mile trail following the lake. The trail is well maintained and has lots of nice deciduous trees to provide shade. The trail is one way so the total hike was 2.1 miles and took about 50 minutes.

Short but impressed

Looks like a lake that will bring back memories of fishing the glacier ponds in upstate New York. We love the wilderness atmosphere versus the large reservoir impoundments found in Tennessee. Natural Lakes are so beautiful
